MARKET ASSESSMENT NOTIFICATION

FOR TANGGUH THREE TRAINS LNG VESSEL REQUIREMENT

BP Berau Ltd,(BP), a production sharing contractor for SKKMIGAS, the Indonesian regulatory body for oil and gas upstream activity, and the Operator of the existing Tangguh LNG production facility, is conducting a Market Assessment to obtain the latest and most up to date market information on LNG. Vessel Acquisition capability and capacity.  information obtained and received from this Market Assessment may be utilized as input in developing a Contracting Strategy for future projects.

Tangguh Project is a world class integrated upstream and LNG liquefaction plant located in Bintuni Bay, West Papua Province. BP Berau Ltd (BP) is the Unit operator leading an international joint venture that includes CNOOC, Nippon Oil, MIB, LNG Japan and KG. The Tangguh LNG expansion plan (Tangguh Train 3) will add 3.8 million tonnes per annum (mtpa) LNG train to the existing project, bringing Tangguh’s total capacity to 11.4 mtpa.

The target for 3 Trains LNG production, place it to a position supplying the LNG to key Asia Pacific customers (Japan, South Korea and China), Mexico and domestic markets (Regas Terminal & FSRU) for which LNG is considered as a key strategic resource. For 3 Trains, the project may require one LNG carrier to replace one of the existing fleet in a ranges of approximately one hundred forty five thousand cubic meters (145,000 m3) to one hundred fifty Eve thousand cubic meters (155,000 m3). The project will consider a “Project New-build” vessel or an "Existing" vessel (either in operation, under construction or under contract for construction). In the event the vessel at 20 years old on the delivery (2024-2025), it is mandatory to have CAP-1 (Condition Assessment Program-1), The Project will consider all available propulsion system and containment system;

The LNG ship will be on Indonesian Flag on the Delivery Date.
