INVITATION FOR BIDS

The Emission Reduction in Cities - Solid Waste Management Programme comprises 4 (four) projects similar in size and complexity in the two cities of Jambi and Malang and the two regencies of Jombang and Sidoarjo in Indonesia.

The Bidding Committee of the Emission Reduction in Cities Programme - Solid Waste Management for Malang and Sidoarjo on behalf of the Ministry of Public Works and Housing - Indonesia ("the Purchaser' ) now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Goods and Related Services ("Heavy Equipment").

Bidding will be conducted by means of the International Competitive Bidding ("ICB") procedure in accordance with KFW's Procurement Guidelines ("KFW Guidelines"). The bidding process will be carried out as a two (2) envelope procedure, with separate evaluations for the Technical Bids and Price Bids.

1. Bid Package

Name : Goods and Related Services (Heavy Equipment) for Emission Reduction in Cities - Solid Waste Management Programme

Scope : Heavy equipment including spare parts and trainings for the following:

• Landfill Waste Compactor

• Bulldozer

• Excavator

• Dump Truck

• Tank trailer

• Pickup Truck

Project Cost Estimate: EUR 1,777,963 (amount excludes VAT)

Source of Funds : Loan from KFW BMZ No. 2010 66 471 dated May 2, 2013

2. Eligibility : Open to all Bidders from eligible countries in accordance with the Bidding Document.

3. Registration and Obtaining Bidding Documents

Obtaining Bidding Documents : After successful registration, the Bidding Document shall be made available to the prospective Bidder.

4. Tentative Schedule

Publishing of Invitation for Bids (IFB) at the same date in national news papers and GTAI Germany : 26.02.2020

Clarification period : Latest twenty-one (21) days prior to the submission deadline

Deadline of bid submission : 13.04.2020

Opening and start of evaluation of Technical Bids : 13.04.2020

Opening and start evaluation of Price Bids : 20.04.2020

Announcement of results : 01.05.2020

Notification of award : 06.05.2020

Signing of contract : 08.05.2020

Equipment delivery to the site in Sidoarjo and Malang. : Latest 6 months after Contract Signature.
