INVITATION FOR PREQUALIFICATION

PT Pupuk indonesia (Persero) intends to invite companies for the pre-qualification for Engineering, Procurement and Construction of Pusri-IIIB Project at Palembang, South Sumatera. It is anticipated to be executed by a Main Contractor in the form of consortium between a local EPC company and a foreign EPC company, with requirements:

1. Consortium

a. Consortium shall consist of one local EPC Company and one foreign EPC Company only, whereas each Company is prohibited to set up more than one Consortium; `

b. It is preferable that local EPC Company be assigned as Consortium Leader. In the event that the Local EPC Company to be assigned as the Consortium Leader, then the following requirements shall be complied and fulfilled:

i. Having experiences as consortium leader or as a single EPC contractor in ammonia/urea projects in the last 15 years; with a minimum project value amounting or equivalent to USD 300 million; or

ii. Having experiences as consortium leader or as a single EPC contractor in petrochemicals, refineries, and natural gas-based process industry projects in the last 10 years; with a minimum project value amounting to equivalent to USD 300 million.

2. Local EPC Company requirements:

a. Holding Sertitikat Badan Usaha Jasa Konstruksi of large-scale classihcation with Sub-Kualifikasi B2;

b. Holding certification of ISO 9001-2015; ISO 14001-2015 and SMK3;

c. Having experiences in projects with a minimum scope of contract with the value amounting to or equivalent to USD 150 million in:

i. Ammonia/Urea Projects in the last 15 years, or

ii. Petrochemicals, renneries, and natural gas-based process industry projects in the last 10 years.

3. Foreign ECP Company Requirements:

a. Having license of Representative for Foreign Construction Services (ljin Perwakilan Badan Usaha Jasa Konstruksi Asing / IPBUJKA);

b. Being an engineering and construction company who owns proven process technology in ammonia and/or urea manufacturing, and/or engineering and construction company who is granted with both proven ammonia and urea process technologies by the owner, with minimum capacity of 1,350 MTPD ammonia and 2,750- MTPD urea;

4. For detailed terms & conditions and PQ documents can be accessed and downloaded at website: www.pupuk-indonesia.com  and all information stated in the pre-qualification documents shall be submitted not later than 9th April 2021 (17:00 hrs)

Any and all cost incurred by the company in this pre-qualification shall be solely at the company expense and NOT be reimbursed by PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero) under any circumstances.
