The West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) province enjoyed a 184 percent jump in non-oil and gas export in 1999 to US$29.4 million compared to $10.4 million in 1998.
The NTB administration attributed the surge in export to the $18.8 million initial export of gold and copper concentrate to Japan by PT Newmont Nusa Tenggara.(*)
