Timah?s sales for Jan-May period down, despite higher tin output

State tin miner PT Timah Tbk's tin-in-concentrate production increased to 14,735 tons in the January-May period, from 13,807 tons in the same period of last year, the company?s president director said on Monday
The company?s onshore tin-in-concentrate production reached 6,600 tons as of May this year, down from 7,047 tonnes in the same period of last year, Wachid Usman said in a hearing with House of Representatives (DPR)
Onshore tin-in-concentrate production during the period rose to 8,135 tons from 6,760 tons.
Despite the higher production, the company?s refined tin sales during the period were down to 13,769 tons from 15,623 tons. Refined tin production was also down to 14,987 tons from 16,209 tons. (josef)
