The publicly listed state tin mining firm PT Tambang Timah said that its production would not be affected by the looting activity in its tin mining site on the Bangka Island.
"Looting activity always occurs. But the amount is still relatively small and the problem can been settled," said Timah corporate secretary Prasetyo Budi Saksono.
There has been concerns that Timah's production level would be seriously affected by the looting activity that became rampant since the outbreak of various social unrests throughout the country last year.(*)
