Timah plans to increase 9% sales volume

IDX-listed PT Timah Tbk is seeking a 9 percent increase in sales volume of tin to 36,000 tons in 2012 from last year's of 33,000 tons.
Soekrisno, President Director of PT Timah Tbk said that the target to increase sales volume was aimed to keep the company's revenue stable amid the decrease of tin prices in the first semester this year.
"By increasing the sales volume the revenue will not be changed so much," he said.
Soekrisno said that the demand of tins is still high, especially from Europe, United States and Japan.
