Tarakan villagers file lawsuit against Expan Kalimantan

Two Tarakan villagers in East Kalimantan filed on Thursday a lawsuit against oil and gas firm PT Expan Kalimantan demanding the company to pay a Rp 8 billion compensation for occupying their 8,000 square meter land without permission.
The two villagers, Muhammad Abdullah and Muhammad Zam'an, Expan of collaborating with former Maburangan village secretary Djaman and another villager Sunardi to create a fictitious certificate describing that the land belongs to Sunardi.(*)
