Upstream company Talisman Sakakemang B.V. has completed drilling of the Kaliberau Dalam-2X (KBD-2X) exploration well at the Sakakemang block in South Sumatra Province.
Head of Formality and Public Relations Division at upstream oil and gas authority SKK Migas, Wisnu Prabawa Tahar said on Thursday that the KBD-2X well was spudded on June 28 using the Rig PRA-15.
According to Petromindo.com data, the exploration block, which is located between the Corridor and Jambi Merang PSCs onshore South Sumatra, was awarded in 2010 to a local company PT Cakra Nusa Darma. Talisman acquired 90 percent of the interest in April 2014.
