More offers than bids were reported as Chinese buying slowed down from the past two weeks of more active trading. An offer for a November loading geared vessel was reported at $29.50/t FOB, basis 3,800 kc NAR, while a Panamax for the same month was heard at $31.50/t FOB, same basis. A late November, early December loading geared vessel was offered at $30.00/t FOB, basis 3,800 kc NAR. A December loading geared vessel was offered at $31.00/t FOB, basis 3,800 kc NAR.
Paper
M42 was bid for October at $28.00 and offered at $28.40/t, with November was bid at $29.45 and offered at $29.65, while December was bid at $30.35 and offered at $30.75. Further out January was bid at $30.45 and offered at $31.55, and Q1-21 bid at $30.85 and offered at $32.00.
