Indonesian prices remain firm, with supply said to be becoming increasingly tight amid continued heavy rains. A May loading Panamax was said to have traded at $49.50/t FOB, basis 3,800 kc NAR, although this could not be confirmed at the time of writing. A deal from earlier in the week emerged at $48.75/t FOB, basis 3,800 kc NAR, for a May loading Panamax. A trader, who no longer had any May cargoes left to sell lamented receiving buying interest at around $48.50/t FOB, basis 3,800 kc NAR, for an early May loading geared vessel. Earlier in the week, an offer was said to have been seen at $50.00/t FOB, basis 3,800 kc NAR, for a June loading geared vessel. A bid was heard today at $46.25/t FOB, basis 3,800 kc NAR, for a geared vessel loading in June. A Panamax, also loading in June, was heard offered at $52.00/t FOB, basis 3,800 kc NAR.

M42 traded at $49.00 for May, up on the previous day's traded level of $48.00. June traded at $47.25, which was up on $46.25 the day before. During the day, M42 was bid at $45.50 for April and offered at $48.00, while May was bid at $49.00 and offered at $49.50, with June bid at $47.00 and offered at $47.75. A bid for Q4-21 was also seen at $36.00. A spread for May vs June was bid at plus $0.50 and offered at plus $2.00. June vs July and July vs August were both heard bid at $0.00 and offered at $1.50.
