Pertamina Hulu Energi (PHE), a subsidiary of PT Pertamina (Persero), on April 6, 2021 held an inauguration ceremony for the operation of Cirebon Shorebase for PHE Abar and PHE Anggursi with the theme "Synergy Between SOEs, Advancing Together for Indonesian Progress" (Sinergi Antar BUMN, Maju Bersama Maju Indonesia) at Cirebon Port, which is an operational area of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia II (Persero) or IPC. The event is the inauguration of the shorebase service facility operated by PT Pelabuhan Tanjung Priok (PTP Multipurpose) which is a subsidiary of Pelindo II (IPC).
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Sultan Sepuh XV of Kasepuhan Sultanate Cirebon Pangeran Raja Adipati Luqman, Cirebon Port Authority (KSOP) Wismantono, VP Exploration of PHE Farid Rochmadianto, General Manager of PHE Anggursi Joko Mulyono, SVP Civil Construction of IPC Irwan Setyabudi as representative of IPC Board of Directors, President Director of PTP Multipurpose Drajat Sulistyo, Director for Operation of PTP Multipurpose Rino Wisnu Putro, and members of PHE and PTP Multipurpose Management.
VP Exploration of PHE Farid Rochmadianto said, "The collaboration activity started in November 2019 and was initially limited to casing or pipe stacking activities. However, as seen today, it is clear that the collaboration activities have transformed into an Integrated Shorebase Services provider, which can provide comprehensive Shorebase services and safety standards for the Upstream Oil and Gas."
"The operation of the Shorebase and Facilities Services by PTP Multipurpose at the Cirebon Port is a concrete manifestation of the SOE synergy program between Pertamina Hulu Energi and the IPC Group. It is hoped that this synergy can become a locomotive for cost efficiency in the upstream oil and gas sector and at the same time creating a much more efficient services,” President Director of PTP Multipurpose, Drajat Sulistyo said at the inauguration ceremony of the Cirebon Shorebase.
In his remarks, Pangeran Raja Adipati Luqman, Sultan Sepuh XV of Cirebon’s Kasepuhan Sultanate, appreciated this synergy and expressed his hopes that the collaboration between PHE and PTP Multipurpose will provide the best contribution to the energy security for the people of Cirebon and Indonesia.
In addition, General Manager of PHE Anggursi Joko Mulyono added, "So far, we are very pleased with the positive support of IPC and PTP Multipurpose in facilitating the shorebase activities and we hope that this collaboration will continue to be improved in the future".
The form of synergy between Pertamina Hulu Energi (PHE) Abar and PHE Anggursi with IPC at the Cirebon Port is implemented through the provision of shorebase and facilites services, in which the cooperation has been started since November 2019 which includes loading and unloading activities and storage of goods to be used in drilling activities, including the provision of bulk plant facilities, as well as various site office & portable camp facilities to support the Offshore Crew Change activities during the upstream oil and gas project development.
This shorebase terminal has succeeded in becoming a comprehensive integrated shorebase service and has met the upstream oil and gas safety standards, in terms of the availability of docks, lifting equipment, storage warehouses and medical services. The shorebase crew on duty at this shorebase facility has already obtained Oil and Gas certifications and has attended the SIKA (Safe Work Permit System) training. This can be seen from the achievement of zero accidents in shorebase services with a total of 48,504 man-hours Free Lost Time Injury (Free- LTI). This was stated by the shorebase operations team head Soni Patandum in his presentation at the inauguration ceremony of the shorebase.
In addition to providing Shorebase services in accordance with the Upstream Oil and Gas Industry standard for PHE Abar and PHE Anggursi in Cirebon, currently, IPC through PTP Multipurpose has also provided Shorebase activities at the Tanjung Priok branch and several other areas in Indonesia. With competent, experienced and certified professionals in providing services to the Upstream Oil and Gas and supported by the availability of complete infrastructure and equipment, PTP Multipurpose has proven its ability to provide a more effective performance and more efficient shorebase logistics service to the Upstream Oil and Gas sector.
