MEMR announces winners of 2024 oil and gas working area auction

Indonesian Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) has announced the winners of the Phase II 2024 Oil and Gas Working Area (WK) auction, which was launched at the end of last year.

Tri Winarno, Acting Director General of Oil and Gas, revealed the results of the latest auction round, which offered six oil and gas blocks—five via direct offer and one through a regular tender.

The direct offer scheme yielded five successful bids, while the winner of the regular tender has yet to be announced.
