Indonesia?s mining exports for March and April ? Trade Ministry

The Indonesian trade ministry has published mining exports data for March and April this week. The figures were compiled from surveyors? reports from March 1-31 and April 1-30.
It did not give details on the concentrate content but for copper, PT Newmont Nusa Tenggara (NNT) which is a unit of U.S. Newmont Mining Corp. has copper content of 25-35 percent in its concentrate.
The trade ministry did not give reason for the rise and fall in the number. Figures may not reflect production situation in the relevant month. (fitri)
