House told to take action against coal mining firm

The East Kalimantan House of Representatives will summon coal-mining firm PT Fajar Bumi Sakti on alleged illegal annexation of people's land.

Legislator Maruli Hutapea said that the summoning was made following protest from the local community. But Suara Kaltim didn't say where the mining location of Fajar Bumi was.

Maruli said that the House would seek clarification from Fajar Bumi to help resolve the dispute. (*)
