East Kalimantan aims at boosting coal export

The East Kalimantan administration is now making efforts to boost the province's coal export to become the number one export product.

Head of the ministry of trade and industry East Kalimantan office Himanudin Nasution said that coal was expected to push aside timber as the province's number one export product.

He said that in January, coal export reached 48.07 percent of East Kalimantan export, while timber was second at 44.16 percent. (*)
