Steaming Coal for KOEN Power Plants
Korea South-East Power Co., Ltd. (KOEN), duly organized by virtue of the law of the Republic of Korea and having its head office in Jinju-City, Korea, issues this Invitation To Bid (ITB) to provide Bidders with information in detail on the procedures of and requirements for Bidding and Contractual terms and conditions
1. ITB no.(Bid Notice no) KOEN-Coal-2023-LT11~12
- (LT11) LCV. Min.4,200~Max.4,999kcal/kg nar, TS Max.0.50%, Ash Max.10.0%
- (LT12) M/HCV. Min.5,300kcal/kg nar, TS Max.0.40%, Ash Max.16.0%
※ Not allowed from Russian coal.
2. Quantity / Shipping Schedule(1st contract year)
- (LT11) Min. 1 Pana(80kt±10%) (only FOB) / loading in Feb Mid 2024
- (LT12) Min. 1 Pana(80kt±10%) or 1 Cape(150±10%) (only FOB) / loading in Feb 2024
3. Mine : A Clear Single Mine Name(Not allowed to be marked as “Other Mines”)
- In case of Indonesian coal, the bidder shall attend with min 3 million tons of production record in last year
4. Bid Closing Date : 10:00 A.M on 4th(Thursday) of Jan, 2024 (Korea Standard Time)
5. Qualification of Bidder : Coal producers, marketing companies or traders who have any successful coal supply record more than 300,000MT in recent three years to 5 Korean GENCO(KOEN, KOMIPO, KOWEPO, KOSPO, EWP) or power generation companies, electric power companies, independent power producers, power Companies, steel mill companies, cogeneration companies, cement companies in Korea, Japan, Taiwan, EU, North American nations can participate in this bid. Bidders shall meet the whole requirements of ITB including but not limited to, coal quality specification, shipping schedule etc.
