State electeicity company PT PLN has successfully conducted new biogas power plant trial at Pasadena, Rokan Hulu regency of Riau.
"The 3x1MW power plant will soon be connected within PLN's distribution system, slated to fully operational at the end of April 2023," PLN Riau Distribution Unit General Manager Agung Murdifi said in a press release Wendesday (19/4).

"Powered by palm oil liquid waste supplied by PT Pasadena Biofuels Mandiri, the Pasadena powerplant is stable, cheap, can run for 24 hours a day and is not weather dependent like fuel based power plants," he added.
