Australia the largest participant in Indonesia mining expo

Australia is the largest participant at the "Mining Indonesia 2000" expo in Jakarta, the Media Indonesia daily reported.
The international expo, the largest this year in Asia, would be opened today by Australian Ambassador to Indonesia John McCarthy.
Australia sends 98 participants out of the total 826 participants.
Australia senior trade commissioner Michael Abrahams said that being the largest participant in the expo showed Australia's long commitment to Indonesia's mining sector.
In addition to mining, expo on oil and gas, and electricity sectors would also be held at the event. (*)
