Antam to start scripless trading of its shares

State-owned publicly listed mining concern PT Aneka Tambang Tbk has signed an agreement with PT KSEI (Indonesian Central Custodian) for "shares collective custodian" in the so-called C-BEST program that will allow scripless trading on the stocks.

Antam corporate secretary Dohar Siregar explained that Antam will carry out shares conversion for the scripless trading by Oct. 31, 2000, then end scrip-base trading on Nov. 27, begin scripless trading on Nov. 28, end scrip-base settlement on Dec. 1 and begin scripless settlement on Dec. 4.

Based on data at KSEI, currently 26 companies have been participating and will participate in the C-BEST program for the scripless trading.

The 26 companies include Suparma, Multipolar, Dankos Lab, Sari Husada, SMART Corporation, Bank Panin, Indofood Sukses Makmur, Bank Panin, PT Siwani Trimitra, Duta Pertiwi Nusantara, Asuransi Bintang, PT AHAP, Unilever Indonesia, Ciputra Developmnet, Bank Universal, Lippo Securities, Igar Jaya, Matahari Putra Prima, Jaya Pari Steel, Astra International, Adindo Foresta, Bakrie & Brothers, Telkom, Berlina, Bank Bali and Unggul Indah Cahaya.
