B. Job summary

Conduct inspections, supervision, and verification of installation, fabrication, and testing of piping systems to ensure compliance with standards, codes, project specifications, and safety regulations.

C. Responsibility

1. Quality Inspection of Work

• Inspects installation of pipe, fittings, flanges, and other components to conform to isometric drawings, P&ID (Piping & Instrumentation Diagram), and project specifications.

• Identifies and reports defects or deviations from applicable standards.

2. Fabrication and Installation Supervision

• Ensures pipe fabrication and installation are performed in accordance with welding procedures (WPS & PQR) and industry standards (ASME, API, ANSI, etc.).

• Supervises installation methods, such as welding, flange connection, and material handling.

3. Testing and Verification

• Conduct inspections before, during, and after welding to ensure the quality of pipe joints.

• Supervise non-destructive testing (NDT) such as radiography (RT), ultrasonic (UT), magnetic particle (MT), and penetrant testing (PT).

• Ensure the implementation of hydrostatic and pneumatic tests in accordance with safety procedures and technical standards.

4. Documentation and Reporting

• Prepare daily inspection reports, defect reports, and recommendations for corrective actions.

• Maintain inspection and testing records as a reference for project compliance.

5. Coordination with the Project Team

• Coordinate with piping engineers, welding inspectors, and quality control to ensure smooth project

• progress. Attend coordination meetings to discuss work status and obstacles found.

6. Safety and Regulatory Compliance

• Ensure all piping work meets occupational safety and environmental standards.

• Supervise the use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and compliance with occupational safety procedures in the project area.

7. Materials and Technical Specifications

• Verify material certificates (MTC) to ensure pipe, fitting, and flange materials meet project specifications.

• Supervise coating, heat treatment, and other pipe protection procedures.

E. Job Specification

Experience :

• At least ten (10) years of experience in piping welding, piping inspection and testing associated with oil and gas projects.

Qualification

• Min. Diploma (D-3) degree in engineering preferable in metallurgical/material engineering.

• Having qualifications and certificate for NDT level 2 (RT & MPI/DPI).

• Preferably experience with various types of exotic materials, such as low alloy steel, austenitic, Nickle alloy and duplex stainless steel.

• Good written and spoken English communication skill.

• Familiar with Code, standard, specification related piping equipment and welding (ASME, API, ASTM, etc).

B.  Job Summary

Involved in EPC & EPF phase 1 execution, involved in FEED activity (value engineering), involved in preparing CAPEX & ITB phase 2, involved in phase 2 process tender, involved in house activity ( technical note for construction engineering)

Ensure the Civil/Structural engineering design, procurement, construction and project completion is completed in compliance with the project objective and contractual requirement i.e. project schedule, cost, HSE, company standard and procedures.

B. Job Summary

The Instrument, Control System and Telecom Engineer is responsible involved in the development of project specifications, review and approval of design and supply of Instrument, Control System and Telecom System for production facilities, ensuring that facilities meet project objectives, industry standards and best practice for safety, reliability and cost.

5. Attend various meetings, workshops like HAZOP, HAZID, 3D Model Review etc.

6. Attend FATs for various equipment and packages at vendor's shop at domestic and overseas locations.

7. Ensure EPCI Contractor process engineering works are implemented and completed in accordance with the scope, schedule and other contract requirements with quality of high standard and integrity.

8. Developing an understanding of the overall plant to enable the assessment of impacts on the overall plant.

9. Responsible for site surveys to validate design for all aspects of the Project execution.

10. Responsible for Monitor EPCI Contractor's performance for Piping Discipline, provide advice and takes necessary actions to achieve Company's design goals and meet specification requirements.

11. Responsible for Resolve in a timely manner Field piping-related issues that arise between the EPCI Contractor, PMT, vendors, and other interfaces.

Experience : More than 10+ years of experiences in

Oil and gas projects with major consultancy companies

Different stages of project (Conceptual, FEED, Detail Design, Construction and Installation) of large size Onshore/Offshore Projects.

Piping Engineering (Layout, Piping Material, Valves and Stress Calculation) Onshore Processing/Refinery Plans.

Breakdown minimum experiences as follows; 5 years as Layout and Stress Engineer, 5 years as Material Engineer

Qualification : Bachelor's degree in engineering (preferably Mechanical Engineering)

Experience in practical application of international standards and codes such as ASME 31.3, ASTM, API & other project standards.

Experience in working with large-scale EPCI contractors.

Experience in technical reviews (Plot Plan, Piping GA, Piping flexibility analysis, Piping Specialty Item Datasheet, Manual valve Datasheet, Material Requisition, Technical Bid Evaluation, PFD, P&ID, 3D Model) of large-scale project/complex facilities is essential.

B. Job Summary

Strong technical knowledge and understanding in process design for oil & gas surface facilities including wellhead, flowline/pipeline, processing facilities (for gas, condensate, produced water), compression and pumping system, disposal system (flare, vent, produced water treatment), and utilities system

Good expertise in performing process simulation software such as Hysys, Unisim, Pipesim, Flarenet, etc.

Good capability in performing process calculation and adequacy check for piping, equipment, choke & control valves, safety devices, flare and disposal system, for process system and utilities

Familiar with Code/Standard/International Regulation & best practice such as API, ASME, ANSI, NFPA, ISO, IEC, ISA, etc.

Familiar with Government Regulation/Local Regulation such as SNI, PERMEN, PP, etc.
