B. Job summary
Conduct inspections, supervision, and verification of installation, fabrication, and testing of piping systems to ensure compliance with standards, codes, project specifications, and safety regulations.
C. Responsibility
1. Quality Inspection of Work
• Inspects installation of pipe, fittings, flanges, and other components to conform to isometric drawings, P&ID (Piping & Instrumentation Diagram), and project specifications.
• Identifies and reports defects or deviations from applicable standards.
2. Fabrication and Installation Supervision
• Ensures pipe fabrication and installation are performed in accordance with welding procedures (WPS & PQR) and industry standards (ASME, API, ANSI, etc.).
• Supervises installation methods, such as welding, flange connection, and material handling.
3. Testing and Verification
• Conduct inspections before, during, and after welding to ensure the quality of pipe joints.

4. Documentation and Reporting

Experience :
• At least ten (10) years of experience in piping welding, piping inspection and testing associated with oil and gas projects.
Qualification
• Min. Diploma (D-3) degree in engineering preferable in metallurgical/material engineering.
• Having qualifications and certificate for NDT level 2 (RT & MPI/DPI).
• Preferably experience with various types of exotic materials, such as low alloy steel, austenitic, Nickle alloy and duplex stainless steel.
• Good written and spoken English communication skill.

7. Ensure EPCI Contractor process engineering works are implemented and completed in accordance with the scope, schedule and other contract requirements with quality of high standard and integrity.
8. Developing an understanding of the overall plant to enable the assessment of impacts on the overall plant.

Piping Engineering (Layout, Piping Material, Valves and Stress Calculation) Onshore Processing/Refinery Plans.
Breakdown minimum experiences as follows; 5 years as Layout and Stress Engineer, 5 years as Material Engineer
Qualification : Bachelor's degree in engineering (preferably Mechanical Engineering)
Experience in practical application of international standards and codes such as ASME 31.3, ASTM, API & other project standards.
