PT Lestari Banten Energi; Environment Officer

PT Lestari Banten Energi, a member of Genting Group, is an Independent Power Producer Company which owns and operates 1x625MWNet Coal Fired Super Critical Steam Power Plant in Salira – Banten. The plant achieved Commercial Date in March 2017 and is currently operating continuously to supply power to PLN Grid.

We are currently seeking for an Experienced Professional to join our Operation and Maintenance Team at the position of:

Job Title   : Environment Officer

Department    : Resources and Environment Management

Direct Report    : Environment Engineer

Qualification   :

1. Minimum Bachelor Degree (S1) from a reputable university in Environment Engineering or equivalent.

2. Minimum three (3) years’ experience in handling Environment in a Power Plant (PLTU) or large scale industry.

3. Having a valid license PPPA/PPPU/PLB3 would be advantage.

4. Updated knowledge regarding Indonesian Environment Law & Regulation.

5. Strong knowledge of Government Environment system will be advantageous.

6. Computer literate for basic MS-Office (MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint and MS-Word)

Job Responsibilities :

1. Assist Environment Engineer to comply with all government regulation about environment.

2. Assist Environment Engineer to provide monthly & Quarterly report about RKL & RPL.

3. Environmental parameter monitoring regarding Waste water, Emission, Hazardous waste & Non-Hazardous waste aspect & reporting data to SIMPEL Application.

4. Prepare support environmental data that is a requirement for PROPER assessment, to be reviewed & checked by validators from government.

5. Inform and provide recommendations to Environment  Engineer to take corrective action regarding the environment parameter.

6. Support and ensure that the activities of company have the necessary environmental permits/licenses from the respected government and local authorities.

7. Familiar with GHG emissions calculation and carbon trading based on PTBAE-PU in accordance with government regulations.
