Currently we are sourcing the following:

Position : Logistics Superintendent

We are looking for a results-driven Logistics Superintendent. This role will oversee end to end logistics operations.

Main Responsibilities:

•  Oversee inventory operations and lead the inventory team.

•  Manage inventory settings and optimize stock processes.

•  Ensure working capital efficiency and maintain product availability in the region.

•  Implement and track key operational performance indicators (KPIs).

•  Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.

•  Ensure operational compliance with Ways of Working (WoW) standards.

•  Design and execute programs to improve financial and operational performance.

•  Supervise the daily operations of the order desk.

•  Collaborate with Inventory, Warehouse, and Dispatch teams to ensure smooth customer order flow.

•  Standardize and enhance order management processes.

•  People Management & Warehouse Operations:

•  Develop, maintain, and enforce operational procedures.

•  Improve efficiency, manage budgets, and monitor performance.

•  Oversee warehouse infrastructure and plan for future needs.

•  Continuously refine and optimize warehouse processes.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Over 10 years of experience in Logistics Operations and Customer Service (preferably within the Mining Industry).

• Advanced English proficiency

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, or a related field. Equivalent relevant experience may be considered.

 

Position : Indirect Purchasing Superintendent

We are looking for a results-driven Indirect Purchasing Superintendent. This role will oversee procurement operations, supplier management, contract negotiations, and cost-saving strategies to ensure efficient purchasing processes.

Main Responsibilities:

• Supplier & Vendor Evaluation:

o Assess and select suppliers based on reliability, quality, cost, and compliance.

o Maintain strong vendor relationships and monitor performance.

• Procurement Strategy & Negotiation:

o Manage vendor selection processes, including RFPs and RFQs.

o Negotiate contracts to secure competitive pricing and favourable terms.

• Cost Optimization & Market Research:

o Analyse market trends and pricing to identify cost-saving opportunities through bulk purchasing, supplier consolidation, and value engineering.

• Risk & Compliance Management:

o Develop risk mitigation strategies

o Maintain alternative supplier options to minimize procurement disruptions.

• Collaboration & Process Improvement:

o Work closely with internal teams to align procurement strategies with business needs.

o Continuously refine processes for greater efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

• Documentation & Accuracy:

o Ensure all procurement records, including contracts, invoices, and purchase orders, are accurate and properly maintained.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (Master’s degree or certifications like CSCP, CPSM are a plus).

• Experience: At least 10 years in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management, preferably in the mining sector.

• Core Skills:

o Strong negotiation and supplier management expertise.

o Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.

o Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems.

o Understanding of ethical sourcing and sustainability practices.

o Effective communication and teamwork skills.

o Strategic thinking with a data-driven approach.
