Under the Production Sharing Contract arrangements with SKK MIGAS, PETRONAS Carigali Indonesia Operations is looking for the following professionals:
1. Instrument Technician
We are seeking a highly skilled Instrumentation Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance, conducting troubleshooting and inspections, including breakdown maintenance. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in maintaining complex instrumentation systems and expertise in automation and control systems and in gas turbine packages.
Responsibilities:
• Execute necessary repairs and maintenance on instrumentation equipment to support the operation and maintenance of regional/country oil and gas production, both in onshore and offshore facilities, ensuring the highest technical standards are maintained in a safe and cost-effective manner.
• Perform regular inspections and tests of instrumentation equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
• Conduct troubleshooting and root cause analysis of instrumentation failures and implement corrective actions.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new instrumentation systems and upgrades.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and provide reports on equipment performance.
• Work collaboratively with other maintenance and engineering teams to ensure integrated and efficient operations.
• Adhere to all safety and environmental regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
• Intermediate level English proficiency.
• Minimum Technical Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronic or related field from a recognized Polytechnic or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Instrumentation Technician in the oil and gas industry.
• Demonstrating knowledge and skills in instrumentation and control systems, including PLCs, DCS, SCADA systems, and field instruments.
• Experience with calibration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of various instrumentation devices such as transmitters, controllers, analyzers, and valves.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures related to instrumentation and electrical systems.
• Preferably domiciled in Madura, Gresik, or the nearby areas of East Java.
• Employment arrangement will be under Third Party Contract (TPC)
Preferred Qualifications:
• Certification in instrumentation and control from recognized industry bodies is preferred
• Experience in hazardous area equipment maintenance
• Familiarity with predictive maintenance techniques and tools such as thermography.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
2. Electrical Technician
Responsible for planning and executing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, inspections, breakdown maintenance, and repair of electrical equipment to support the operation and maintenance of oil and gas production facilities. The role aims to maintain the highest technical standards in a safe and cost-effective manner.
Requirements:
• Technical Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering from a Polytechnic or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Electrical Technician in the oil, gas, or related industry, with demonstrated knowledge and skill in electrical tasks.
• Experience working with power transformers and relevant project experience is required.
• Familiarity with SAP for daily maintenance tasks is essential.
• Preference will be given to candidates with experience in electrical maintenance of complex gas turbine generator systems.
• Preferably domiciled in Madura, Gresik, or nearby areas in East Java.
• Employment arrangement will be under a Third-Party Contract (TPC).
