PT Agincourt Resources (PTAR) specialises in gold and silver exploration, mining and processing within the Martabe Gold Mine. Our operational area is situated in Province of North Sumatra, with overall management functions based in Jakarta.
In 2023 employing a workforce of over 3,000 employees and contractors. Over 99% of our workforce are Indonesian Citizens (WNI), with more than 70% locally recruited. The Martabe Gold Mine, situated in South Tapanuli Regency, North Sumatra, spans 657 hectares per December 2023 and commenced production on July 24, 2012. It boasts an annual capacity exceeding 6 million tonnes of ore, resulting in an annual output of over 200,000 ounces of gold and 1-2 million ounces of silver.
All of the operation activity is governed by a 30-year Contract of Work (CoW) in collaboration with the Government of Indonesia, the mining area has evolved from the original 6,560 km2 in 1997 to its present refinement of 130,252 hectares (1,303 km2), encompassing the South Tapanuli, Central Tapanuli, North Tapanuli and Mandailing Natal Regencies. As of June 2023, the mineral resources totalled 6.2 million ounces of gold and 59 million ounces of silver.
Martabe Gold Mine is currently seeking a qualified individual to join our Community Development team to strengthen its capabilities and support the achievement of departmental objectives.
SUPERVISOR – BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT & ANALYSIS
(CD 2501006)
This position is located at the Martabe Site within the Community Development Department and reports directly to the Senior Supervisor of Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) Development.
The Supervisor – Business Development & Analysis is responsible for assessing baseline conditions to establish benchmarks for enhancing the local economic sector. The role involves conducting market potential research to support business feasibility analyses, evaluating locations to optimize marketing strategies, and driving innovation to enhance product and service quality in line with established standards. Additionally, the role includes overseeing monitoring, evaluation, and continuous improvement processes to ensure the effectiveness and sustainability of development initiatives.
Candidates applying for this position should meet the following qualifications and criteria:
1. A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business management, Food Technology, Tourism, Communication, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
2. At least 3 years of experience in the MSME sector or mentoring MSMEs.
3. Proficient in applying the Business Canvas Model concept.
4. Strong knowledge and experience in the export sector.
5. Skilled in developing business strategies and conducting comprehensive feasibility analyses, including operational, financial, and marketing evaluations.
6. Strong analytical skills for interpreting reports and identifying opportunities or challenges.
7. Demonstrated skills in digital marketing and online business development.
8. Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to lead a team effectively.
9. Strong negotiation and interpersonal communication skills, especially when interacting with business partners.
10. Highly capable of multitasking and managing time efficiently to meet deadlines and deliver results.

The Exploration Department is pleased to invite qualified internal candidates to apply for the following position:
SUPERVISOR – GIS (EXP 2501008)
This position is located at the Martabe Site within the Exploration Department and reports directly to the Superintendent – Exploration.
The Supervisor – GIS will provide expert GIS support to facilitate the efficient generation of concise and relevant reports, documents, geological plans, and data. The role is pivotal in ensuring that exploration data is accurately integrated into the site database and adheres to the file structure and storage protocols, ensuring transparency and ease of access for all stakeholders.
Candidates for this position are expected to meet the following qualifications and criteria:
1. Minimum of Senior High School; however, a bachelor’s degree in Geology, Geography, or other Natural Resources-related fields is preferred.
2. Proven ability to complete large and complex projects successfully.
3. Proficient in computer applications, including database management.
4. Experience with MapInfo, Micromine, or similar software for data processing and manipulation.
5. At least 5 years of experience in GIS, with a strong background in geological data support, particularly in exploration.
6. Previous experience in supervising both technical professionals and non-technical staff.
7. Ability to make independent technical decisions, implement programs, and prioritize work with minimal guidance.
8. Demonstrated supervisory skills, including leading teams and providing direction to both technical and non-technical staff.
9. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
10. Ability to listen actively and convey information in a clear and concise manner.
11. Capable of analysing, obtaining, and processing information for problem-solving and decision-making purposes.
12. Demonstrates the ability to generate new ideas and solutions.
13. Ability to develop and implement realistic and comprehensive short-term and long-term work plans.
