We are hiring for the following positions:
Project Site Scheduler
1. Client : PT. Indo Bharat Rayon
2. Project : Waste Gas Treatment Project
3. Location: Purwakarta
4. Contract duration: 5 months (Dec ’24 – Apr ’25)
5. THP budget (all in): max IDR 17 mio (housing provided by clients)
6. Working Hours: The normal working hours and days are 8 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday, exclusive 1 hour lunch break and exceptional work ongoing on Saturday-Sunday would be off time, if need for working on site will be counted as overtime as per government regulation or can be replace with others normal working days for off time.
7. Qualification:
• Engineering related bachelor’s degree or above.
• Min 2+ years project experiences in integrated Project Control role for build projects.
• Proficient with MS Office and control system, including MS office, MS Project P, etc.
• Good knowledge of project control best practices
• Fluent in English both written and spoken.
• Flexible to relocate to any project site.
• Ability to prioritize personal work/goals and use time management skills to continuously improve work efficiency.
• Strong communication and influencing skills, and ability to work with other functions in a project to build understanding of the approach and value of Project Controls
• Demonstrated ability to facilitate group discussions and meetings
• Demonstrated ability to cope with conflict and develop solutions which all parties can support
• Proven ability to partner effectively with all levels of the project organization in a team environment.
• Demonstrated inclusion skills, with appreciation for people with diverse backgrounds, perspective, and identities
8. Responsibilities:
Cost Management
• Together with IBR internal Project Control set up, define and monitor Project WBS and Work Package.
• Support IBR internal Project Control in budget and cost estimating.
• Responsible in supporting cost report in weekly/biweekly/monthly basis with direction from Wartsila internal Project Control.
Schedule Management
• Fully understand Wartsila best practice in Schedule Management by reviewing the PCP and consult with Wartsila internal Project Controls to get alignment.
• Responsible to prepare and set up schedule baseline with direction from Wartsila internal Project Control.
• Responsible to prepare schedule update in weekly/biweekly/monthly basis with direction from Wartsila internal Project Control.
• Prepare and communicate reports and participate in site planning or progress meetings.
• Measure and track productivity for any applicable work packages or control accounts.
Proactive Control
• Physically “Progress” the work (% complete) for each Control Account and Work Package.
• Solicit and collect accurate reporting of all applicable labor hours, material quantities, and progress from all contractors and sub’s, at required reporting intervals.
• Support Procurement and Contracting activities related to project schedule.
• Assist the project team in exploring root causes for deviations, proposing solutions, and initiating corrective actions.
• Monitor issues and potential changes, track actual changes, maintain the logs, and manage the process on behalf of the Build Project Manager.
• Quantify the cost & schedule impact of all site Change Requests.
Miscellaneous
• Fully understand project target, support Build Project Manager to properly breakdown project scope into controllable WBS work packages.
• Fully understand project organization plan and help Build Project Manager properly load resources to work packages in WBS to develop resources plan.
• Monitor to ensure contractor/supplier compliance with bid package requirements and specifications.
• Provide proper input to procurement plan and help to track purchasing and delivery of materials and equipment.
• Manage Risk by monitoring risk factors and their responses, and initiating change as required.
• Collect Historical data (cost, schedule, lessons learned) and capture relevant information for normalization.
