We are hiring for the following positions:
Utility Engineer
Placement: Malang, Indonesia
Job Description
• Ensure BDF safety guidelines, GMP and local legal requirement are always implemented during design, construction and commissioning work
• Take an ownership to collaborate with all stakeholder (global technology manager, utility development and sustainability, quality and production, safety) to achieve comprehensive and success project execution on time in full and within the budget approved
Utility Engineer Responsibilities:
• Develop utility facilities and system designs, specifications, and drawings in compliance with project and industry standards
• Select appropriate utility facilities and system based on project requirements
• Assist in project planning, budgeting, and scheduling for utility working stream
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and project teams to ensure integration of utility systems
• Evaluate and select suppliers and vendors for utility equipment
• Supervise and provide technical guidance during the installation, calibration, and commissioning of elecrical/instrumentation automation systems
• Ensure that all utility systems comply with safety regulations, industry codes, and project-specific requirements
• Develop maintenance procedures and schedules for utility equipment
• Develop, execution of Installation & Operational Qualification (IQ/OQ), FAT, SAT for utility equipment.
• Validation of the system as per BDF guidelines with all documentations (IQ,OQ,PQ)
• Conduct proper Handover to production & technical department to ensure training, as-built documents, spare part list and maintenance schedule is available
Requirements and skills
• Proven work experience as a Utility Engineer or similar role
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to details and technicalities
• Good interpersonal and multi-tasking skills
• Technical expert of utility design and operation : Boiler and steam distribution, air compressor and compressed air distribution, chiller and chilled water distribution, HVAC, heat pump, cooling tower, and all energy conversion equipment system
• Technical expert of energy conversion , piping, and mechanical structure
• Understanding and Implementation of Nature Principle (water, energy, emission, waste & industrial sustainability concern)
• Knowledge of machinery safety, Hygienic Design compliance (EHEDG), GMP/Quality is mandatory
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor degree with Mechanical / Instrument / Electrical / Engineering background or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5 years of related work experience.
• Experience / involving executing build capital projects.

Construction Manager

Job Description
• Ensure BDF safety guidelines, GMP and local legal requirement are always implemented during design, construction and commissioning work.
• Responsible for engineering conceptual design, FEED and detail design carried out by engineering consultant
• Prepare and execute on strategies and project plans for engineering and technical projects, including monitoring progress, resolving issues, budgets, coordinating schedules, status reporting and all tasks associated with the project and coordinate the operational aspects of assigned projects.
Job Purpose and Impact
Oversee engineering and technical projects, including management of personnel, budget, and scheduling to deliver a successful project outcome, including safety and risk mitigation plans. In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with stakeholders across all areas of the project to interpret the needs, expectations, and limitations of each, and bring them together with the aim of successful project deliveries.
Key Accountabilities
• Prepare and execute on strategies and project plans for engineering and technical projects, including monitoring progress, resolving issues, budgets, coordinating schedules, status reporting and all tasks associated with the project and coordinate the operational aspects of assigned projects.
• Develop business case for projects, monitor and lead from initiation through completion.
• Supporting managing site capital portfolio including communicating goals and conducting meetings to accomplish business capital goals for the site.
• Develop project schedules by studying project plan and specifications, calculating time requirements and sequencing project elements.
• Review status of projects and budgets, coordinate schedules, and prepare status reports and recommend appropriate actions.
• Lead the project team and the work of contractors following all site safety requirements.
• Collaborate with regional domain leads for domain specific expertise support in build projects.
• Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Minimum of two years of related work experience.
• Experience executing build capital projects.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Knowledge of the environmental health and safety standards and international standards and codes related to engineering and technical projects.
• Engineering and management software knowledge.
• Experience leading third party resources to deliver business results.
• Experience with SAP systems.
