Currently we are sourcing the following:

1. Vibration Engineer 1 (Min. 5 Years of Experience ISO Level II or equivalent)

2. Vibration Engineer 2 (Min. 2 Years experienced ISO Level I or equivalent)

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform vibration analysis and condition monitoring of rotating machinery, such as pumps, compressors, turbines, motors, and fans.

• Collect and analyse vibration data to detect and diagnose machinery issues, such as misalignment, imbalance, bearing faults, and other mechanical defects.

• Generate detailed reports with findings and recommendations for corrective actions, including maintenance and repair strategies.

• Collaborate with maintenance, reliability, and engineering teams to develop solutions to prevent equipment failures and optimize machinery performance.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices, particularly ISO 18436-2 for vibration analysis.

• Use predictive maintenance tools and techniques, such as vibration analysers, portable data collectors, and software for data interpretation.

• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) of machinery failures and propose long-term solutions to prevent recurrence.

• Assist in developing and implementing condition-based maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability and reduce unplanned downtime.

• Train and mentor junior technicians in vibration analysis techniques and best practices.

 

Qualifications:

• (Vibration Engineer 1)

- ISO Level II certification (or equivalent) in vibration analysis, in accordance with ISO 18436-2 or a recognized certifying body.

- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in vibration analysis and rotating equipment diagnostics in industrial environments.

• (Vibration Engineer 2)

- ISO Level I certification (or equivalent) in vibration analysis, in accordance with ISO 18436-2 or a recognized certifying body.

- (Vibration Engineer 1) Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in vibration analysis and rotating equipment diagnostics in industrial environments.

• Strong knowledge of condition monitoring techniques, including vibration monitoring, oil analysis, thermography, and ultrasonic inspection.

• Proficiency in the use of vibration analysis tools, including portable data collectors, spectrum analyzers, and relevant software.

• Experience with various rotating equipment, including pumps, compressors, turbines, and motors, in industries such as oil and gas, manufacturing, or power generation.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose complex machinery issues.

• Ability to interpret and apply industry standards and technical guidelines.

• Strong communication skills to report findings and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• Preferred: Experience with predictive maintenance programs and other reliability engineering tools (e.g., CMMS systems, FMEA, and RCA).

 

Additional Skills (Preferred):

• Familiarity with advanced vibration analysis techniques such as ODS (Operating Deflection Shape) and modal analysis.

• Knowledge of equipment reliability metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).

• Proficiency in predictive maintenance software and data management systems.

 

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Reliability Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
