PT Agincourt Resources (PTAR) specializes in gold and silver exploration, mining and processing within the Martabe Gold Mine. Our operational area is situated in Province of North Sumatra, with overall management functions based in Jakarta.

In 2023 employing a workforce of over 3,000 employees and contractors. Over 99% of our workforce are Indonesian Citizens (WNI), with more than 70% locally recruited. Going forward, the Company will continue to be committed to implementing operational activities to secure and sustainable operations, minimal environmental impact and long-term benefits for local stakeholders.

The Martabe Gold Mine, situated in South Tapanuli Regency, North Sumatra, spans 657 hectares per December 2023 and commenced production on July 24, 2012. It boasts an annual capacity exceeding 6 million tonnes of ore, resulting in an annual output of over 200,000 ounces of gold and 1-2 million ounces of silver.

All of the operation activity is governed by a 30-year Contract of Work (CoW) in collaboration with the Government of Indonesia, the mining area has evolved from the original 6,560 km2 in 1997 to its present refinement of 130,252 hectares (1,303 km2), encompassing the South Tapanuli, Central Tapanuli, North Tapanuli and Mandailing Natal Regencies. As of June 2023, the mineral resources totaled 6.2 million ounces of gold and 59 million ounces of silver.

PT Agincourt Resources is currently seeking a qualified individual to join our Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) team in order to enhance its capabilities and support the achievement of departmental objectives.

 

GRADUATE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM – OH&S (GDP-OH&S)

This position is based at the Martabe Site within the OH&S Department and reports directly to the Superintendent - OHS System Compliance and Reporting.

The Graduate Development Program – OH&S aims to identify, design, implement, and evaluate OHS initiatives by analyzing incidents, addressing current issues, and meeting both government and internal management requirements. The role will also be responsible for preparing reports and presentations on OHS improvements through scientific methodologies, as well as participating in various external OHS awards and events. A high level of integrity, systematic problem-solving skills, and the ability to effectively communicate across departments and with Senior Management are essential. The role often involves working to tight deadlines and requires close collaboration with departmental representatives.

Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications, experience and attributes:

1. A minimum of a bachelor's degree in OHS or Engineering; a Master’s degree is an advantage.

2. Up to three (3) years of experience in OHS-related work, studies, contests, or events.

3. Ability to organize OHS events and promotions via various offline and online media, develop scientific papers, and present findings in a structured manner.

4. Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, and strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Bahasa Indonesia.

5. Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a professional and safe manner.

6. Strong prioritization and delegation skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.

7. A keen attention to standards and detail, with the ability to work autonomously within a team environment.

8. Highly motivated, proactive, and possessing a positive attitude.

9. Experience in organizing OHS events and promotions, conducting research, participating in scientific studies, contests, or events, and delivering presentations on these topics is desirable.

10. Advanced skills in database or programming software are a plus.

GRADUATE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM – GOVERNMENT RELATIONS

(GDP- Government Relations)

This position is based at the Jakarta Office within the Government Relations and Permitting Department, reporting directly to the Senior Supervisor - Government Relations & Permitting.

The Graduate Development Program – Government Relations is designed to support the Government Relations and Permitting teams, particularly in assisting the Senior Supervisor in securing permits and ensuring regulatory compliance. The role involves working on the technical aspects of licensing and compliance within the mining, construction, project development, and environmental sectors to ensure the effective operation of the Martabe site in alignment with legal requirements. Responsibilities include reviewing, preparing, and coordinating with field officers on licensing matters, as well as following up on the progress of permits at various government levels to ensure timely completion. The selected candidate will also attend meetings with both regional and central government bodies as part of the licensing process and actively foster positive relationships and communication with government officials.

Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications, experience and attributes:

1. A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in mining engineering, Geology Engineering, Metallurgy Engineering, or Environmental Engineering.

2. A solid understanding of engineering and technical aspects of mining operations.

3. Strong communication and report writing skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.

4. Experience in student organizations, off-campus activities, or sports organizations.

GRADUATE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM – MPDSE (GDP-MPDSE)

This position is based at the Martabe Site within the MPDSE Department and will report to an experienced engineer or metallurgist. The role will focus on one of two available positions: Mine Planning or Metallurgical Investigation

The Graduate Development Program – MPDSE offers direct exposure to various project scopes, including study, planning, and execution phases. The selected individual will assist engineers in completing studies and executing approved development projects.

Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications, experience and attributes:

1. Bachelor’s degree in civil, Mining, Geological Engineering, or Metallurgy (Master’s degree is an advantage).

2. Basic understanding of project management, heavy equipment management, and earthwork quality control.

3. Familiarity with the principles of design/planning, project execution, and supervision.

4. Prior experience in organizational roles.

5. Proficiency in English (listening, speaking, writing).

6. Desirable: Basic understanding of S-curve development.

GRADUATE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM – FINANCE (GDP-FIN)

This position will be based either at our Jakarta Office or Martabe Site, within the Finance Department, and will report directly to the Superintendent - Treasury.

The Graduate Development Program – Finance is a program designed to develop talent for future leadership positions in finance. Throughout the rotations, you will gain experience in various roles, including but not limited to: Accounts Payable, Treasury, Accounting, Cost Controlling, and Financial Reporting. This program offers a valuable opportunity to learn, develop, and gain exposure to our business and the broader industry.

Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications, experience and attributes:

1. Bachelor's degree in accounting; an understanding of taxation is desirable.

2. Maximum of 1 year of experience; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

BUYER (SCM 2410047)

This role will be based at the Martabe Site, within the SCM Department, and will report directly to the Superintendent - Purchasing.

The Buyer will be responsible for facilitating the procurement of company operating equipment, parts, and supplies. Under the supervision of the Supervisor/Senior Supervisor - Purchasing, the Buyer will manage the negotiation and preparation of Purchase Orders for both domestic and international purchases of spare parts, stock, and direct procurements. Key responsibilities include processing purchase requisitions, handling revisions, price negotiations, and resolving purchasing discrepancies.

A strong emphasis is placed on supporting local businesses while ensuring PTAR secures the best possible pricing, in line with company standards. All procurement activities must comply with PTAR’s standards, policies, and procedures, as well as Indonesian law and the Martabe Mine’s Contract of Work. The Buyer will also be expected to provide a high level of support to user departments, ensuring procurement processes, bids, negotiations, purchase agreements, and supplier management are conducted ethically, efficiently, and cost-effectively.

Candidates for this position are expected to meet the following qualifications and criteria:

1. Minimum Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mining Engineering, or Civil Engineering.

2. At least 5 years of experience in purchasing within the mining industry, including construction projects.

3. Experience in preparing purchasing reports, conducting commercial analyses, negotiating with suppliers, managing settlements, and overseeing the entire purchasing process from supplier performance to closure in medium to large-scale mining or construction companies.

4. Excellent communication skills, adaptable to dynamic work environments, with strong teamwork and analytical abilities.

JUNIOR BUYER (SCM 2410048)

This role will be based at the Martabe Site, within the SCM Department, and will report directly to the Superintendent - Purchasing.

This position will be based at the Martabe Site, within the SCM Department, and will report directly to the Senior Supervisor - Purchasing.

The Junior Buyer role has been established to support the increasing workload of the Procurement team. As demand grows, the current volume of requests has led to delays in processing outstanding approvals. The Junior Buyer will play a key role in assisting the Procurement team by issuing Requests for Quotation (RFQs), obtaining bids, and supporting end users in preparing Purchase Orders (POs), price quotes for Capital Expenditure Requests (CERs), and general consumption requests.

The Junior Buyer is responsible for obtaining price quotes, negotiating terms, and preparing purchase orders for domestic purchases, including spare parts, stock, and general consumables. A key focus of the role is working with local suppliers to meet company needs. All activities must adhere to PTAR’s standards, policies, and procedures, as well as Indonesian law and the Martabe Mine Work Contract. Throughout the procurement process, the Junior Buyer is expected to provide high-level support to user departments while maintaining an ethical, efficient, risk-managed, and cost-effective approach.
