Overview

We are looking for an experienced individual to join with Bureau Veritas Indonesia who will play a key role position as

1. Engineering & Supplies Coordinator (FPU) Coordinator

a) Bachelor degree in Process, mechanical or material engineering (S1) from reputable university.

b) Min 10 years working experience in area production Topside FPU / FPSO facility engineering design, construction and Installation, the experience gained shall be in a similar role and the candidate shall have a strong Process and Piping engineering background.

c) 7 years Lead experiences in relevant discipline engineer in topside engineering design.

d) Numerate and fully computer literate and will also have familiarity with Process and Piping engineering analysis.

e) experience and deep analysis in HYSYS, Pipesim, Caesar software..

f) Familiarity with and experience of applying ASME B31.3, B31.8, DNV codes and relevant standards of practice.

 

2. System Integration Engineering Coordinator

a) Bachelor degree in Engineering or technical degree.

b) Experience in Project  and Interface Engineering in a major oil and gas company for similar package.

c) Not less than 10 years of working experience in oil & gas industry, offshore ,subsea and onshore as interface engineer

d) Not less than 10 years of experience of working with contractors and supervising the contractors as interface engineer

e) The roles primary responsibility during the execution phase of a project is to ensure that interfaces are formally closed and approved by all parties before the design is frozen, to ensure that interfaces are executed and completed in accordance with project objectives, to monitor, update and record revision and status of interfaces, provide support to interface manager in the preparation if interface register and interface management procedures, maintaining and updating the interface register, controlling the process of interface identification and definition of technical and execution interfaces and participate on a regular basis to interface meetings.

f) To control the flow of technical data across one or more project work package/contractor interfaces, to ensure a consistent design basis and data set, and thereby assure overall design consistency and integrity.

g) Maintain all interface activities internal companies and all contractor packages.

h) Having experience in offshore, Subsea and Topside engineering background

 

3. SURF Engineer.

a) A SURF Engineer will hold an honours degree in Mechanical or Material or Civil or Structural or Subsea Engineering from reputable University. The degree must contain a thorough grounding in the theory and techniques of structural engineering.

b) Min 8 years working experience in area production facility (subsea) engineering, construction and Installation , the experience gained shall be in a similar role and the candidate shall have a strong construction engineering background and have demonstrable yard leadership skills.

c) Numerate and fully computer literate

d) Considerable experience of relevant Flexible flowline and umbilical design or installation experience.

e) Must be able to apply engineering principles to offshore flexible flowline and umbilical design and installation problems. Such problems will include but are not be limited to: flexible flowline and umbilical installation by reeling; pipe spooling problems; installation analysis; thermal design; on bottom stability and roughness design.

f) Familiarity with and experience of applying Flexible Flowline and umbilical codes and relevant standards of practice.

g) Experience in use of FE software such as Orcaflex, Abaqus and Ansys

h) Hands-on experience of design and who have worked for or with a major Operator

i) Providing assurance for design and operational aspects of offshore brownfield activities

j) Strong analytical skills, a strong understanding of engineering fundamentals and specialist knowledge in design and structural engineering analysis as required

k) Experience of relative design methodologies, construction activities, installation activities and associated analysis

l) Appraisal of CONTRACTORs designs to ensure compliance with specified/relevant codes, regulations, standards and specifications; production of deliverables such as calculations, reports and presentations; discuss/present the deliverable with client at a senior level and be able to suggest alternative solutions where appropriate; share knowledge with other team members; work within agreed parameters including budget and contractual requirements

m) having ability in English Language.
