1. JOB POSITION : QUANTITY SURVEYOR MANAGER

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide effective leadership to maximize team efficiency by fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment.

• Assume a leading role in managing a QS department with 20 team members involved in various disciplines including Civil, Mechanical, Piping, EAI, manpower supply, construction progress claims, and final settlement.

• Manage more than 1,000 purchase orders related to materials and procurements for liquidated damage application and final settlement.

• Proficiency in Civil, Mechanical, Piping, and EAI skillsets is essential.

• Certify Works and issue relevant certificates such as (MEI, TOC, and FAC if applicable).

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Master Degree is an advantage.

• Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar role

• Knowledge of Paper, Pulp, Rayon / Chemical industry.

• Have a good interpersonal communication skill.

• Willing to work at site.

• Strong integrity, ownership, and commitment to the role.

• Proficiency in both written and spoken English. Mandarin capabilities is a point plus.

2. JOB POSITION : PROCESS MANAGER

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead and manage Process team in developing design and ensure the implementation of design during construction stage

• Develop plans to implement new plant manufacturing process

• Collaborate with interdepartmental teams to establish process standards, guidelines and best practices

• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources allocation for process engineering activities.

• Ensure that all processes comply with regulatory requirements and meet relevant industry standards.

• Chair and facilitate meetings with vendors and internal stakeholders

• Providing coaching and mentoring for process engineers to help the meet their goals and develop their skills.

• Lead Process plant investigation (if required)

• Partake in HAZOP studies as ab active member.

• Partake in FAT test for systems within area of responsibility.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering background

• Min 15 year experiences of leading Process team in Chemical/Pulp & Paper Industry, including in all project phases i.e Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) as the same position

• Chemical process design knowledge

• Capability in developing and managing budget, schedule, resources until project completion.

• Able to deal with various vendor (Technical & Management)

• Ability to communicate in English professionally (Written and verbal)

• Have a thorough understanding of safety risk and mitigation strategies.

 

3. JOB POSITION : ELECTRICAL MANAGER

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordinate all appointed subcontractors or vendors for the various areas of responsibility in Electrical Project to ensure project targets are met.

• Plans electrical projects by determining specifications; selecting contractors; establishing installation schedules; and installations; integrating requirements with architectural and electrical designs; verifying code requirements.

• Completes electrical projects by supervising installations; resolving design issues.

• Develops strategic electrical plans by studying project plans; studying existing conditions; determining needs to accomplish project plans; mapping solutions; updating and modifying requirements and solutions; preparing cost estimates and budgets.

• Coordinate site activities and various work execution phases to ensure compliance with all SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality) requirements.

• Ensure effective application of installation methodologies and enforce project and site standards.

• Coordinate work sequences accordingly to set milestones dates to ensure completion according to the schedule.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (High Voltage), Master Degree is an advantage.

• Min. 10 years broad experience in all project phases i.e Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) as Manager.

• Knowledge of Power Systems (Switchgears, PCC, MCC, Transformer), PLC, VSD, Motor, smart motor control, SCADA, Busduct, UPS, Harmonic System and etc.

• Knowledge and experiences in Frame Agreement

• Knowledge of green energy power system

• Knowledge of Paper, Pulp, Rayon / Chemical industry

• Project management skills

• Familiar with Low Voltage, Medium Voltage, & High Voltage System

• Able to operate MS Project, AutoCAD & MS Office

• Ability to communicate professionally in English (verbal & written)

4. JOB POSITION : LAYOUT MANAGER

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for preparing proposal layout following operability, constructability, and maintainability.

• Ensure and complete engineering drawing with mill project standard and word class industry.

• Review of consultant / vendor drawing and documents for correctness, efficient and ensure all project standards are followed.

• Check and review 3D models during basic and detail design.

• Prepare 3D model concepts based on project proposals.

• Develop in-house engineering capability to develop steel structure, piping layout, isometrics as per company needs.

• Participate in tender proposal discussions with consultants and suppliers to ensure enough information is available to develop conceptual layouts for internal decisions.

• Prepare quantities for cost estimate.

• Check contractor’s installations for critical equipment.

• Prepare engineering drawings, survey, check civil design with mechanical drawings.

• To collect data from project PIC to prepare as-built drawing and documentation.

• To insure all drawings, specifications, schedule, are all complete before start of project.

• To coordinate with engineering / disciplines for all construction related documentation such as revisions, site instructions and as-built Drawings / Design.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering; a master's degree is advantageous.

• Minimum of 10 years of working exposure or experience of similar role.

• Experience in manufacturing industry or design institute / company working on design of manufacturing industries (Chemical / Pulp & Paper Industries)

• Proficient in Windows, Microsoft Office, AutoCAD 2D/3D, AutoCAD Plant 3D, PDMS, etc.

• Expertise in Mechanical, E&I, and Piping Design.

• Various international design standard, process and civil engineering basic knowledge & quality standard.

• Understanding of mechanical and piping design, process design, architectural, and civil design principles.

• Have experience and familiar in designing plant layout

• Knowledge of budgeting, cost control, and strategic planning.

 

5. JOB POSITION : SENIOR CONTRACT ADMIN (MECHANICAL)

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Handle contract disputes and negotiate with main vendors and subcontractors.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple contracts simultaneously.

• Understand and administer contracts to ensure obligations and responsibilities are met in a timely, accurate, effective, and compliant manner.

• Review all claims to establish responsibility in variation claims and extensions of time from contractors in a manner beneficial to the company's interests.

• Coordinate and chair contractors' meetings, take minutes, and follow up on actions until closure.

• Ability to evaluate delay analysis for time recovery measures.

• Oversee and ensure insurances and securities such as bonds and bank guarantees are valid and maintained.

• Work closely with legal, cost control, scheduling, logistics, document control, and construction supervisors and managers.

• Ensure accurate and timely contract documentation and record-keeping.

• Visit construction sites and attend progress meetings to understand progress and construction issues, and identify potential risks.

• Develop initiatives to improve internal processes and procedures.

• Report periodically on contractual performance.

• Manage over 1,000 purchase orders related to materials, handle take-out items for Liquidated Damage (LD) applications, and finalize settlements.

• Identify and analyze potential back charges, evaluate extensions of time (EOT), and additional claims from contractors.

• Support the Procurement Team in finalizing construction contract terms and conditions with legal assistance.

• Manage and prepare liquidated damages for vendor supply contracts (engineering, equipment & materials) and service contracts, penalties for contractor safety negligence, calculate LD amounts based on contract rates and days of delay identified by site engineers, and prepare reconciliation forms with logistic support.

• Perform any other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Law, Master Degree is an advantage.

• Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar role

6. JOB POSITION : COST CONTROL MANAGER

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead effective cost control function on the project.

• Implementing policies, guidelines to establish appropriate cost control practices for the organization.

• Setting up cost control procedures and cost breakdowns for follow up and control.

• Monitoring progress for the purpose of payment certificates preparation, record running costs, compare to budget for cost control and accounting.

• Forecasts and prepare cost report to management on a regular basis.

• To control daily cost, analyses cost expenditure, make budget comparison and prepare base data for annual budget and submit the reports to manager on time as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Master Degree is an advantage.

• Minimum 15 years broad experience in project cost control from Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) company.

• Strong knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirement in the EPC/EPS company.

• Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.

• Must have good attention to detail.

• Working knowledge of SAP accounts system, Access and Excel.

• Project management knowledge will be preferable.

7. JOB POSITION : PROJECT PLANNING & SCHEDULING MANAGER

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Establish section strategies and objective consistent with department goals. Structure the department and development system to achieve maximum department effectiveness

• Develop a detailed project plan to track progress

• Manage the Dept. project resource in the Scheduling group to ensure the timely and efficient performance of project activity

• Lead a team of Scheduler.

• Coordinating with other disciplines to update and ensure the completion of area as per project’s schedule.

• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

• Contributing to the establishment and development of effective communication methods to support schedule management

• Identifying the issues or risks that are associated with any aspect of workforce planning cycle and its supporting data, and also suggesting appropriate recommendations or improvement strategies to support or tackle these issues

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering or related discipline.

• 10 years’ experience in a project scheduler (minimum involve in 3 different projects) and broad experience in all project phases i.e Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) in the same position.

• Good analytical and planning skills

• Ability to learn quickly and work under pressure in a fast paced environment

• Proficiency in the use of project scheduling software

• Must have good attention to detail

• Excellent organization and time management skills

• Ability to communicate professionally in English (verbal & written)

8. JOB POSITION : PROJECT PROCUREMENT MANAGER

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Identifying potential suppliers and conducting research to evaluate their capabilities, pricing, and quality.

• Oversee the creation and management of contracts with suppliers, and ensuring that all terms and conditions are met.

• Maintain relationship with suppliers, resolve any contractual disputes, and monitor supplier performance.

• Monitor project budgets and costs related to procurement activities based on cost-saving principal.

• Assess potential risk associated with procurement activities and ensuring that it complies with organizational policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.

• Coordinating with project teams to ensure that procurement activities align with project requirements and overall project timelines.

• Monitor procurement activities to identify any areas for improvement and implementing process improvements as needed

• Report on procurement activities to project stakeholders and senior managements

• Monitor and taking control of subordinates’ jobs by ensuring jobs are conducted in efficient and effective way, and ensuring overtime works to be done by subordinates are classified as urgent work which cannot be delayed.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management/Business Management or related education background.

• Min. 10 years’ experience as Procurement Manager in Project Company, and involved in all project phases i.e Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC).

• Able to deal with various vendor (Technical & Management)

• Ability to communicate in English professionally (written and verbal)

• Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholder simultaneously.

• Ability to handle ± 8,000 PO with total valuation ± 1 billion for material & service

• Ability to manage multidiscipline material & services

• Have a thorough understanding of Contract Bound and Framing Agreement

9. JOB POSITION : LEAD PROJECT PLANNING & SCHEDULING ENGINEER

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Generating S curves and other pictorial graphs for displaying calculated progress values

• Analyzing critical path and constraints to determine the effect of change to schedule

• Leading in mitigating causes of delays and suggesting practical solutions

• Having good analytical and planning skills

• Ability to learn quickly and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

• Proficiency in project scheduling software (Microsoft Project)

• Advance knowledge in Ms. Office and Power Point for reports & presentations

• Good attention to detail

• Excellent organization and time management skills

REQUIREMENTS:

10. JOB POSITION : WTP PROCESS ENGINEER & ETP PROCESS ENGINEER

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conceptual design & basic design criteria for river Water Treatment Plant, Demin, Effluent Water Plant.

• Technical Enquiry specification for WTP & ETP

• Technical Tender Meeting and Technical document Sign off for Water Treatment Plant, Demin, Effluent  Water Plant.

• Technical Tender Evaluation and Recommendation for Water Treatment Plant, Demin, Effluent Water Plant.

• Detailed review and freezing of process design Water & Effluent Treatment Plant

• Support project in terms of value engineering (quality, cost & schedule) Water & Effluent Treatment Plant.

• Participate and proactively follow the HAZOP for Water & Effluent Treatment Plant

• Training co-ordination in area Water & Effluent Treatment Plant

• Commissioning and start up Water & Effluent Treatment Plant

REQUIREMENTS:
