PT Agincourt Resources (PTAR) specialises in gold and silver exploration, mining and processing within the Martabe Gold Mine. Our operational area is situated in Province of North Sumatra, with overall management functions based in Jakarta.

In 2023 employing a workforce of over 3,000 employees and contractors. Over 99% of our workforce are Indonesian Citizens (WNI), with more than 70% locally recruited. Going forward, the Company will continue to be committed to implementing operational activities to secure and sustainable operations, minimal environmental impact and long-term benefits for local stakeholders.

The Martabe Gold Mine, situated in South Tapanuli Regency, North Sumatra, spans 657 hectares per December 2023 and commenced production on July 24, 2012. It boasts an annual capacity exceeding 6 million tonnes of ore, resulting in an annual output of over 200,000 ounces of gold and 1-2 million ounces of silver.

All of the operation activity is governed by a 30-year Contract of Work (CoW) in collaboration with the Government of Indonesia, the mining area has evolved from the original 6,560 km2 in 1997 to its present refinement of 130,252 hectares (1,303 km2), encompassing the South Tapanuli, Central Tapanuli, North Tapanuli and Mandailing Natal Regencies. As of June 2023, the mineral resources totalled 6.2 million ounces of gold and 59 million ounces of silver.

Martabe Gold Mine is currently seeking a qualified individual to join our Mining team in order to enhance its capabilities and support the achievement of departmental objectives.

 

ENGINEER – FLEET MANAGEMENT SYSTEM ANALYSES (MIN 2410045)

 

This position will be based at the Martabe Site within the Mining Department and will report directly to the Senior Engineer – Continuous Improvement.

 

Responsibilities of the Engineer – Fleet Management System Analysis include:

• Managing daily mine production information and reporting systems during each shift.

• Maintaining and updating the Fleet Management System in accordance with mining progress.

• Dispatching, monitoring, and supervising production activities to ensure an effective Fleet Management System and coordination with operations to meet and enhance production and productivity targets.

• Providing updated baselines for planning and operational guidelines while identifying issues and proposing ideas to optimize mining operations.

• Analyzing and providing data-driven insights for any failures to comply with operational targets and dispatch instructions, reporting all findings to the operations team to develop appropriate data-driven solutions.

• Upholding operational quality to ensure the implementation of Good Mining Practices (GMP) as part of operational excellence, using the Fleet Management System as a fundamental principle.

• Collaborating with other stakeholders in the development of the Fleet Management System's High Precision implementation

 

Candidates for this position are expected to meet the following qualifications and criteria:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Mining Engineering, Informatics Engineering/Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering or Information Systems.

2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in the related mining industry.

3. Must hold a minimum of a POP certificate.

4. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

5. Experience in handling and a solid understanding of mining business processes.

6. Proficient in reporting and technical writing.

7. Comprehensive knowledge of mining operations, preferably in open-pit hard rock mines; familiarity with drilling, blasting, and project work is advantageous.

8. Ability to analyse data and implement data-driven solutions.

9. Knowledge of SQL and Power BI applications is preferred.

10. Familiarity with equipment specifications and capabilities.

11. The individual must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills, the ability to collaborate with all levels of the organization, and a strong commitment to safe and socially responsible practices. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs is required.

BUSINESS ANALYST – INFORMATION SYSTEMS (IT 2410044)

 

This position will be based at Martabe Site in the IT & Systems Department and will report directly to the Superintendent – Information Systems.

The Business Analyst - Information Systems will be responsible for translating business requirements into actionable solutions, engaging with stakeholders and third-party vendors, and managing project documentation.

Business Analyst must have in-dept skill on analytical, documentation, verbal communication, Microsoft software, database, and IT infrastructure environment concept. Data mining and coding experience would be a plus.

 

Candidates for this position are expected to meet the following qualifications and criteria:

1. Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Information Technology, or Computer Science.

2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in Business Analysis or IT Project Management.

3. Proficient in English, both written and spoken.

4. Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.

5. Excellent documentation, writing, and verbal communication skills.

6. Effective problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.

7. Solid stakeholder management capabilities.

8. Proficient in process modelling and tools such as Flowchart, DFD, UML, etc.

9. Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, etc.).

10. Proficient in data modelling and analysis using SQL and NoSQL schemas.

11. Understanding of UI/UX concepts and implementation.

12. Knowledge of MVC and SPA architecture in system development.

13. Familiarity with IT infrastructure concepts and implementation.

14. Understanding of the Microsoft environment (On-Premise, Cloud, Hybrid).

15. Interest in and understanding of project management techniques
