PT Agincourt Resources (PTAR) specialises in gold and silver exploration, mining and processing within the Martabe Gold Mine. Our operational area is situated in Province of North Sumatra, with overall management functions based in Jakarta.

In 2023 employing a workforce of over 3,000 employees and contractors. Over 99% of our workforce are Indonesian Citizens (WNI), with more than 70% locally recruited. The Martabe Gold Mine, situated in South Tapanuli Regency, North Sumatra, spans 657 hectares per December 2023 and commenced production on July 24, 2012. It boasts an annual capacity exceeding 6 million tonnes of ore, resulting in an annual output of over 200,000 ounces of gold and 1-2 million ounces of silver.

All the operation activity is governed by a 30-year Contract of Work (CoW) in collaboration with the Government of Indonesia, the mining area has evolved from the original 6,560 km2 in 1997 to its present refinement of 130,252 hectares (1,303 km2), encompassing the South Tapanuli, Central Tapanuli, North Tapanuli and Mandailing Natal Regencies. As of June 2023, the mineral resources totalled 6.2 million ounces of gold and 59 million ounces of silver.

To strengthen the existing Mining team and ensure the achievement of departmental objectives, Martabe Gold Mine is seeking a qualified candidate for the following role:

GRADUATE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM – MINING

(GDP-MIN03)

This position is based at the Martabe Site within the Mining Department and reports directly to the Engineer – Hydrogeologist.

The role of the Graduate Development Program – Mining is :

• Perform proactive daily monitoring activities for open pit walls, waste dumps, TSF, and main infrastructure hydrogeology, ensuring all data is documented, evaluated, and reported to the Senior Engineer - Hydrogeology, Geotechnical & Hydrogeology Superintendent, and Mining Manager.

• Prepare information and participate in daily and weekly production meetings, communicating specific hydrological and hydrogeological issues as required.

• Conduct pit slope depressurization programs and groundwater investigations, including installation programs.

• Identify locations for dewatering bores and slope depressurization that could impact slope stability.

• Ensure regular monitoring, documentation, evaluation, and reporting of instrumentation installed in open pit walls, waste dumps, and mine infrastructures.

• Coordinate the preparation of weekly summaries and detailed monthly monitoring reports.

• Maintain all current and future hydrogeological monitoring instruments (e.g., Open Standpipe, Piezometer, Dewatering Bores) and address any operational issues.

• Assist engineers in conducting hydrological software analyses for surface water management at mining pits.

• Support engineers in conducting hydrogeological software analyses to better understand groundwater regimes and characteristics.

Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications, experience and attributes:

1. Bachelor’s degree in mining engineering; a master’s degree in mining is preferred.

2. Indonesian citizen aged 18-25 years for bachelor’s degree holders, and 24-28 years for Master’s/Postgraduate degree holders.

3. Minimum GPA of 3.0.

4. Familiarity with hydrological software (e.g., Watershed Modeling System or similar) and hydrogeological software (e.g., Visual MODFLOW or similar).

5. Proficiency in supporting software for hydrology and hydrogeology analysis (Required: Surpac; Preferred: QGIS/ArcGIS, Global Mapper).

6. Active participation in academic or non-academic organizations.

7. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

8. English proficiency with relevant certification (e.g., TOEFL: 400 or IELTS: 4.0).

9. Willingness to commit full-time to the program by signing a Development Agreement Letter, including readiness for site placement under a roster schedule.

GRADUATE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM – MAINTENANCE

(GDP-MNT01)

This position is based at the Martabe Site in the Processing (Maintenance) Department and reports directly to the Coordinator – Control System & Instrumentation.

The Graduate Development Program – Maintenance is designed to educate, train, and prepare fresh graduates to become professional engineers specializing in electrical reliability and/or electrical projects. These engineers will support the Processing Maintenance execution teams in accordance with operational requirements. The development program will focus on engineering applications related to mineral processing plant machinery and the enhancement of leadership skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and improving the process control and electrical instrumentation functions within the processing plant. They will work collaboratively as part of a team, identify continuous improvement opportunities, and provide professional support to the broader maintenance group.

Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications, experience and attributes:

1. A recognized Engineering Degree in Physics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering from a reputable university (Indonesian or overseas).

2. Indonesian citizenship. For bachelor’s degree holders: aged 18-25; for Master's/Postgraduate degree holders: aged 24-28.

3. A minimum GPA of 3.0.

4. Ability to interpret electrical schematics and single-line drawings.

This role will be based at the Martabe Site within the Processing (Maintenance) Department, reporting directly to the Coordinator of Reliability Engineering.

The Graduate Development Program – Maintenance is designed to educate, train, and prepare recent graduates to become professional engineers in mechanical reliability and/or mechanical project management. The successful candidate will support the Processing Maintenance execution teams to meet operational needs. This program will provide development in both engineering applications related to mineral processing plant machinery and leadership skills.

Key responsibilities include managing, executing, and improving reliability-centered maintenance functions. The candidate will work as part of a team, identifying continuous improvement opportunities and providing professional support to the broader maintenance group.

The primary duties of this position are to actively learn and apply knowledge and skills related to the reliability of equipment in a mineral processing facility. The successful candidate will assist the Reliability Engineering team in developing and implementing condition monitoring, predictive maintenance techniques, and failure analysis with the goal of enhancing process plant asset performance. Key focus areas include vibration analysis, oil analysis, thermography, and non-destructive testing (NDT) techniques.

Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications, experience and attributes:

1. A recognized bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from a reputable university in Indonesia or abroad.

(GDP-MTL)

The selected candidate will be based at the Martabe Site within the Processing (Metallurgy) Department and will report directly to the Plant Metallurgist.

This program is designed to develop recent graduates into metallurgists, providing exposure to plant operations and issues, conducting lab tests, and participating in daily activities as part of their professional growth. The role is essential in supporting both the metallurgy and operations teams by offering technical assistance to optimize plant productivity. Additionally, the candidate will participate in internal projects aimed at enhancing plant performance.

Key responsibilities include assisting the data entry clerk in compiling metallurgy reports (daily, weekly, and monthly), handling bullion weighing in the gold room, managing shipment preparations from the site to the refinery, and performing related tasks.

Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications, experience and attributes:

1. A bachelor’s degree in Metallurgy, Mineral Processing, or Chemical Engineering.

GRADUATE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM – SCM

(GDP-SCM01)

This position is based at the Martabe Gold Mine Site within the Supply Chain Management Department and reports directly to the Senior Administrator - Catalogue and Inventory Management.

The Graduate Development Program in SCM is responsible for assisting the Senior Inventory Controller in managing all inventory activities. This includes reviewing inventory parameters, managing bulk commodity replenishment, scheduling and forecasting, conducting stocktaking, and overseeing stock replenishment functions. The goal is to maintain optimal inventory levels, ensure accurate and up-to-date inventory information, and prevent stock shortages or excess.

This position is based at the Martabe Gold Mine Site within the Supply Chain Management Department, reporting directly to the Superintendent of Supply Chain Management.

The Graduate Development Program in SCM aims to:

• Facilitating the procurement of operational equipment, parts, and supplies through Forward Purchase Agreements (FPA) and under the guidance of the Contract & Procurement Manager.

• Negotiating and preparing contracts and purchase orders for domestic and international procurement of spare parts, stock items, and direct purchases.

• Managing all site contracts, which cover a broad range of services across the Martabe operations, varying in scope, criticality, value, and risk profile. These contracts, regardless of size or complexity, are essential to the successful operation of the Martabe Gold Mine. Maintaining PTAR’s ethical standards is crucial, with a strong emphasis on adherence to company and employee codes of ethics, confidentiality, and company values.

• Preparing and overseeing the PTAR Martabe contracting function, ensuring all commercial aspects of contracting activities across PTAR user departments comply with company standards, policies, procedures, Indonesian law, and the Martabe Mine Contract of Work. The Contract Engineer must provide high-level support in contract bidding, negotiation, preparation, administration, and management, while consistently applying an ethical, efficient, risk-managed, and cost-effective approach throughout the process.

The Graduate Development Program – Training & Development will be responsible for implementing employee development programs, organizational development, and digitalization initiatives at the Martabe Gold Mine. The role ensures that all activities related to employee development are carried out safely, in line with established procedures, while providing excellent service to employees and relevant stakeholders. The incumbent will work to meet set targets responsibly, contributing to the continuous development of employees. Additionally, the role will participate in various Human Capital Development programs and activities as assigned.

Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications, experience and attributes:

(GDP-TSF)

This position will be situated at the Martabe Site within the TSF Operations Department and will directly report to the Engineer – TSF

The Graduate Engineer (TSF) will be involved in the engineering aspects of TSF Dam construction, working under the supervision of senior TSF Engineering personnel. Key responsibilities include:

- Performing all field and laboratory tests related to concrete and soil, and maintaining thorough, organized documentation of test results.

- Conducting instrumentation work, including Inclinometer, Vibrating Wire Piezometer (VWP), and Surface Movement Analysis (SMA).

- Ensuring field and laboratory tests on concrete and soil comply with established standards.

- Overseeing Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) to ensure TSF construction meets required specifications.

- Actively communicating with the contractor’s QA/QC Engineer.

- Providing daily advice to the Supervisor regarding test results.
