Petrochina Intl. Jabung Ltd., an International Oil & Gas Exploration and Production Company has the following position open for immediate engagement:
I. Land & Litigation Sr. Attorney
Work Location: Jakarta
Job Responsibilities:
- Liaise with government agencies regarding issues related to the land acquisition program.
- In-charged for legal aspects related to procurement matters, including assignment as certified bid committee member.
- Support any legal matters related to operations of the Company, including also to support any relevant departments in the Company.
- Handles land and labor disputes, including assisting in negotiations.
- Supervise, identify, and monitor legal activities related to potential and ongoing litigation.
- Liaise at all times necessary, with external lawyers appointed by the company for representation during court proceedings and other adversarial legal processes, such as arbitrations, mediations, and administrative law proceedings.
- Manages external counsel and general litigation.
- Responds to inquiries from regulatory agencies, customers, and the business community.
- Creates business legal reports and correspondence, and effectively presents information to senior management.
- Prepares opinions on legal issues as required.
- Assists relevant departments in liaising with government officials to discuss issues related to PSC and other existing regulations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree (S1) Law from reputable university.
- Fluent in English both writing and speaking.
- Minimum of 5-86-10 years of experience in a related role.
- Hold certified PTK 007 and/or Advocate license will be preferable.
- Humble, independent but as well as easy to work in a team.
