Its primary business encompasses, but is not limited to, providing news, information, and data. Petromindo is currently expanding one of its growing services in research and consulting. This service provides research and consulting services for clients, supporting the energy sector in understanding the industry more deeply. We are looking for talents who have the ability to understand complex problems, analyze structures, and bring ideas to solve the problems in the areas we are working on. We are seeking analysts and researchers interested in delving deeper into one or more of the following sectors:

- Financial and stock peformance of Indonesian energy and mining companies
- LNG / Natural Gas
- Solar PV
- Geothermal
- Wind Energy
- Biomass/Biogas
- Ammonia /
- Hydrogen
- Coal and Nickel Mining
- Carbon Trading
- Carbon Sequestration
 

 

Job Descriptions:

1.    Produce a report about assigned topic each three weeks
2.    Produce a presentation (max 15 pages) related to the report about the assigned topic
3.    Conducting research and indepth data analysis on energy and economic issues
4.    Actively engage with government officials, regulatory bodies, and industry associations to stay informed about project updates, policy changes, regulatory developments, and industry standards.
5.    Providing technical assistant for highquality data gathering (qualitative and quantitative), in-depth data analysis and report writing.
6.    Gather information / news for Editorial purposes.
7.    Provided routine analysis to be posted on Petromindo website.
8.    Preparing deliverable for the clients in the form of papers or presentations
9.    Active in attending focus group discussion, seminar or other coordination meetings to gather information for analytical purposes
10.    Keep up to date with economics related news and latest trends using specialized media source.
11.    Proactive in building networks and maintaining good relationship with related stakeholders including existing and potential clients.

 

Qualifications:

• At least Bachelor Degree in related fields above.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Exceptional written, oral, and presentation communication abilities
• Good business acumen, proactive, creative and resourceful
• Self motivated with strong communication and organizational skills
• Well versed in Microsoft Office Operation
• Passionate about industrial research especially in energy sector
• Able to dissect a complex problem, work under pressure and independent
• Has good writing skill is an advantage point

 

Selection Process:
Upon being shortlisted, candidates will be invited to deliver a brief presentation on a specified topic. This presentation will serve as a critical component of our assessment process. During your presentation, we will evaluate not only your understanding of the subject matter but also your ability to think critically and articulate your points effectively. Expect to engage in a rigorous discussion, as we will challenge each of your statements to gauge your reasoning, problem-solving skills, and ability to defend your ideas under scrutiny. This process is designed to identify candidates who possess strong analytical capabilities and can confidently navigate complex scenarios.
 

Working Policy

Our hybrid working policy is designed to offer flexibility while emphasizing the importance of physical presence in certain critical aspects of our operations. While employees have the liberty to work remotely, attending in-person events, particularly those hosted in Jakarta, is crucial for maintaining our visibility and engagement within the industry. Additionally, face-to-face meetings with clients are highly encouraged as they foster trust, facilitate clearer communication, and allow for more personalized interactions. We believe that balancing remote work with strategic on-site presence not only enhances our service delivery but also strengthens our professional relationships and industry standing.

Salary offer: IDR6,900,000-IDR7,400,000,- per month
