We are seeking for best candidates to fill the vacant position:
1. POSITION : Field Engineer
Department : Engineering Department
Education : Bachelor’s degree in engineering or mechanical engineering.
Working Experiences : Min. 3 years in similar position and similar field
Working Status : 6 months contract (for Neptun Deep Project)
Work location : Karimun Yard
REQUIRED WORKING SKILLS/QUALIFICATION/CERTIFICATION
1. A background in Petrochemicals/Oil & Gas with a minimum of 3 years.
2. A degree/diploma in Engineering.
BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION
• Support the Project Manager in coordinating specific technical and management topics, i.e. project internal and external interface management, contractual document issue and review, project activity planning, data analysis and report preparation, subcontractor and supplier management, preparing Project Record Books, managing spare parts, collecting certifications, supplier payments, SAP data entry, with specific responsibilities especially during the close-out phase
• During the Feasibility Phase:
o Develop techno-economic models of industrial complexes including Linear Programming (LP) techniques
o Prepare appropriate economic evaluation reports to evaluate technologies to be applied in specific projects or to evaluate the relevant competitive advantage
• During the Bidding Phase, as requested by the Project Manager:
o Analyse tender and contractual documents in order to review scope of work and schedule and to identify project requirements and constraints
o Support in the preparation of the Project Execution Plan and the project Organisation Charts
o Prepare bid cost estimate of project management, construction and services, including staff, manpower, construction equipment/consumables and subcontracts
o Assist the commercial team in the selection of the reference sub-contract quotation to be included in the bid cost estimate
• During the Project Execution Phase, as requested by the Project Manager:
o Assist the Project Manager during project activity planning, e.g. in the preparation of the Execution Plans and other project procedures and Plans, in the definition of the resource allocation and of the assets and materials utilization, in the preparation of sub-contracting plans, in the assessment of the man-hours required in order to prepare/update the mobilization plan, in preparing reports relevant to resources mobilization
o Under instructions of project manager, coordinate specific topics, related to but not only, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, project Record Book Spare Parts, etc.
o Coordinate external and internal interfaces
o Assist in managing Client relationships
o Assist in managing Vendors activities
o Assist in coordinating the invoicing and guarantee activities
o Assist in managing change orders and claims
o Support Project Manager to coordinate Risk Analysis
o Support the Project Management in purchase requisitions, technical evaluations, purchase order and work orders and related work progress within own field of competence
o Ensure materials availability on site
o Assist in the implementation of the Management Information System
o As per Project Manager instructions, ensure and/or assist in the preparation/issue of the required documents regarding Project Record Books
o As per Project Manager instructions, ensure and/or assist in the supervision and coordination of the procurement and management process for Two Years Spare Parts
o Assist in coordinating the technical close-out of the project
2. POSITION : E&I Mechanical Completion Engineer
Department : Engineering Department
Education : Bachelor’s degree in engineering or mechanical engineering.
Working Experiences : Min. 3 years in similar position and similar field
Working Status : 6 months contract (for Neptun Deep Project)
Work location : Karimun Yard
REQUIRED WORKING SKILLS/QUALIFICATION/CERTIFICATION
1. A background in Petrochemicals/Oil & Gas with a minimum of 3 years related support experience in Commissioning/Completions.
2. A degree/diploma in Engineering is a must. Intermediate skills with Excel.
BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION
Engineer executes the activities within the area of responsibility, ensuring the compliance with the QA/QC and HSE
requirements.
Tasks include:
A. Development Technology know how and Commercial support
• Provide technical supp ort
B. Feasibility
• Provide technical support
C. Bidding phase/Commercial proposal development
• Analyse and understand Tender documentation
• Take part in electrical system design review
• Identify technical queries, deviations an d alternatives to be submitted
• Implement bidding methodologies, design criteria and guidelines
• Define and issue request for quotation and relevant Technical Bid Tabulation for items not estimated in house
• Coordinate material quantities and weights (MTOs) estimation
• Prepare bill of quantities for erection works cost estimation
• Support Electrical Lead to define manhours estimation
D. Project Execution (Job progress and completion)
• Review Client technical documentation and requirements
• Take part in definition of electrical engineering requirements
• Prepare Project design criteria for electrical system
• Define the configuration of the electrical system and the single line diagram
• Perform electrical system calculation and studies (e.g. power demand, load flow, short circuit, transient stability, motor starting) to define the equipment rating
• Prepare relay and metering schemes, protective relays coordination study and setting tables
• Define the functional philosophies for the electrical system control (power management, synchronization, load shedding, reacceleration and restarting) and control system architecture
• Prepare technical documentation (e.g. specifications, data sheets) for electrical equipment and materials
• Check and review technical documentation according to Project and Saipem procedures
• Prepare Purchase Requisitions and bids technical evaluation
• Perform check and review of Vendor technical documentation
• Provide technical support to Procurement in purchasing and to Post order in expediting and testing
• Develop electrical system plant design (e.g. cable routings, grounding) and substations arrangements
• Perform power cables sizing
• Define typical installation details, bulk materials selection and take off (MTOs)
• Define bill of quantities and prepare technical documentation for electrical system installation
• Define technical procedure for electrical system testing and energization
E. E-Construction and start up
Key responsibilities:
• Responsible for the development of System Completions criteria and plans including:
o Implementation of Completions Management Tool (WinPCS)
o Staged completion/turnover and acceptance certificates, by Facility, System/Sub-system
o Punch list and deficiency management
o Inspection and Test Records (A Check-sheets)
o Test Reports and Progress Reports
• Ensuring the Completions database is customized as per Project specifications (reporting, engineering tables, A Check-sheet registers)
• Support the Client and subcon with WinPCS training and support
• Coordinate with Engineering and Commissioning and Start up teams to ensure Systems are properly structured with tag items and associated check sheets
• Provide completions status and reporting as required by the project
• Ensuring that completed tag item check sheets are progressively scanned & uploaded into the database
• Managing and tracking completion of Punch List data from Walk-downs
• Assist in developing and deploying Project Completions Management systems and training
• Establishes and maintains the “master data” for Mechanical Completion
• Responsible to ensure Contractors as appropriate provide multidiscipline engineering database information suitable for integration within the Completions Data base
• Liaison with Document Control, ensures correct controlled flow of latest documentation throughout the Systems Completions Group
• Responsible for ensuring the database is structured in accordance with project requirements
• Advises on Check-sheets and System/Sub-system allocation, population and verification
• Responsible for all ‘field generated documentation’ and the tracking / disposition of required MC documents, including dossiers
• Extensive experience in the use of procedures and workflows in the execution of projects
• Extensive experience in the use of Completions Management Systems (databases)
• Functional knowledge of all project discipline systems, design, and reporting processes
