SUPERINTENDENT OPERATIONS – COMBINED CYCLE POWER PLANT
(National - Site Based)
Some of your duties will include:
- Focuses on optimizing operational efficiency and generation capacity, ensuring safety and compliance, maintaining stakeholder relations, and leading strategic initiatives for continuous improvement and profitability.
- To manage and lead the power plant operation team to ensure required plant generation targets, availability and reliability are achieved in a safe, efficient, economical and environmentally sound manner whilst complying with company policies, procedures and regulations.
- Develop and upgrade operational strategic plans to cover expected generation demand.
- Ensure the Facility is operated in such a manner that maximizes Owner profits and minimizes losses.
- Maintain operations performance by monitoring appropriate indicators with timely reporting.
- Liaises and coordinates with stakeholders to ensure they are fully informed of operations activities to ensure timely and proper outcomes occur.
- Lead the development, implementation, and control of site procedures.
- Ensures that all permits are complied with, and all reports generated in a timely manner.
- Ensures safe work practices and procedures are observed.
- Maintains effective community and public relations image of Owner and Company.
- Responsible to lead investigations into all losses or shortfalls in plant generation and report findings and corrective actions in a timely manner.
- Responsible to implement and monitor/audit the PTW/LOTO system to ensure all work carried out at the CCPP plant is undertaken in a safe manner.
- Responsible to prepare 1-year and 5-year ahead operations budget in a timely manner.
- Optimize the costs of operating power assets by improving operations efficiency and effectiveness.
- Responsible for the continued development, management and evaluation of manpower, operating and capital projects and budgets for the Power Operations team.
- Implement agreed financial management processes and procedures to monitor actual expenditure and to control costs.

Some of your duties will include:
- Responsible for ensuring the optimal maintenance, reliability, and operational efficiency of power assets while adhering to environmental regulations and engaging in continuous improvement initiatives across various sites.
- To manage and lead the power plant Engineering Support team to ensure required plant generation targets, availability and reliability are achieved in a safe, efficient, economic and environmentally sound manner whilst complying with company policies, procedures and regulations.
- Develops and upgrades maintenance strategic plans to cover life of asset requirements on a timely basis.
- Deploys maintenance life plans for Power assets based on criticality and using reliability centered maintenance techniques.
- Ensure compliance with all environmental laws and regulations and the compliance of environmental management and protection permits for power plant.
- Optimizes the availability of Power assets by ensuring that planned downtime is kept to the minimum required. Optimizes the reliability of Power assets by ensuring unplanned downtime is investigated and driven towards zero.

Some of your duties will include:
- Responsible for overseeing the electrical systems of the Power Plant and LNG facility.
- Coordinate large-scale electrical engineering activities with the engineering/maintenance/operations groups on-site or other external engineering groups.
- To support power plant and LNG facility needs in terms of electrical system engineering modification.
- To ensure overhaul/outage preparation in regard to spare parts, liaison with OEM, contract staff and coordination with other internal/external parties is undertaken in a professional manner.
- To ensure technical correspondence, operating history and configuration records are maintained.
- Ensures compliance with all ROI laws/regulation such as certification and inspection of various electrical equipment.
- Develop maintenance standards and guidelines for Power Plant and LNG facility equipment.
- Develop spare parts purchasing plan for all Power Plant and LNG facility equipment.
- Responsible for electrical condition-based monitoring activity of power plant and LNG facilities including management of contract manpower, scheduling, reporting and follow-up actions.

- Lead entry and maintenance of electrical data into the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).

Some of your duties will include:
- To supervise and lead an operations shift team to ensure safety of people, plant and the environment whilst meeting power plant generation demand in an efficient and reliable manner.
- Ensure the Facility is operated in such a manner that maximized Owner profits and minimizes losses.
- Maintain operations performance by monitoring appropriate indicators with timely reporting.
- Serves as primary facility contact (acting Plant Manager) during non-business hours.
- Conducting weekly shift meetings to cover facility operations, safety, and work rules.
- Maintains a high level of equipment availability by endeavoring to improve equipment reliability, operating procedures, and performing required equipment tests and preventative maintenance.
- Keeps the Operations Superintendent informed of facility operating status and equipment problems.

SUPERVISOR PLANNING – COMBINED CYCLE POWER PLANT
(National - Site Based)
Some of your duties will include:
- To supervise power plant planning group. Organize and schedule all necessary resources for all maintenance activities and shutdowns. Lead Planner for long term and outage planning.
- Responsible to manage DSC (Daily Schedule Control) and reporting.
- Involve in controlling cost and budget including to make sure correct allocation of cost centre.
- Coordinate with material group including warehouse and purchasing to ensure material/parts requirement available.
- Responsible for parts and material storage at power plant to ensure proper and effective storage.
- Responsible for work order backlog management to ensure clean and effective work order backlog.
- Organizes and schedules all necessary resources required to accomplish maintenance activities.
- Prepare and issue shutdown work schedules.
- Prepare detailed critical path plans and job chart, including equipment and materials list for major jobs such as planned shutdowns.
- Issues and follows up on preventative maintenance inspections and procedures.
- Ensure that necessary work history and documentation are properly organized and input into the computer history files.
- Coordinate schedule regularly meetings with maintenance and operations representatives.
- Prepare weekly, monthly summary and exception reports.
- Responsible for long-term plans and shutdowns/outages including parts (turnaround management).
- Assist in the preparation of 1-year and 5-year ahead operations budget.
- Optimize the cost of maintaining power assets by implementing good planning practices.
- Propose new procedure to ensure effective and efficient Power Plant.
- Actively encourage and support team members to participate in decision-making processes and to assume responsibility and exercise initiative.
- Carry out regular inspection, safety meetings to address plant safety.
- Accept personal responsibility for the health and safety of every worker under or assigned to his/her supervision.
- Responsibility for the safety operation of all facilities, infrastructures, plants, and equipment assigned to his/her supervision.
- Other duties as assigned.
What skills and experience do you need?
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field with 10 years’ related experiences.
- Have minimum 5 years’ experiences in supervisory level in similar role in Combined Cycle Power Plant.
- Advanced knowledge of work planning, scheduling for day-to-day operations and plant outages/overhauls.
- General knowledge of all areas of industrial plant maintenance.
- Competency and knowledge of the basic plant layout, equipment and systems of a large industrial project.
- Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) specifically SAP sufficient to undertake this role.
- Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written and computer literate.
