REQUIRED WORKING SKILLS/QUALIFICATION/SERTIFICATION

1. Concrete works and Foundation design. Full knowledge of engineering design criteria for foundations, concrete structures and concrete works items like paving, pits, trenches, etc., including knowledge of criticalities related to construction.

2. Engineering design activities. Knowledge of Discipline engineering design criteria, methods and workflows from conceptual phase up to site engineering phase. Capability to define the technical documents set based on Project quantities and scope of work. Capability to perform and coordinate Project engineering documents production activities and to check and review design documents, prepared either internally or by Vendors.

3. Engineering standard codes and regulations. Knowledge of main international Discipline standards, codes, and regulations. Capability to analyse dedicated Project requirements in terms of local standards and codes and to identify proper implementation actions. Capability to control and ensure the correct application of the general rules and guidelines by all team members and all subcontractors involved in quantity definition activities.

5. Engineering man-hours and cost budget planning and monitoring. Capability to estimate Discipline Work Orders and Bid Projects engineering man-hours budget based on the Project quantities and scope of work according to corporate standards, procedures, methods, and tools. Capability to estimate Discipline items costs budget based on Project quantities and technical requirements according to corporate standards, procedures, methods, and tools. Capability to monitor the relevant activity progress and the actual man-hours spent vs the earned progress.

6. Engineering project documents management. Capability to analyze engineering documents (e.g. Instruction to Tender, Saipem and subcontractor documents, etc.) identifying improvement areas in terms of cost/time optimization.

7. Engineering reporting techniques. Capability to monitor and control the engineering progress and schedule. Contribute to Project reporting for the relevant engineering part.

8. Engineering Subcontractor management and control. Capability to handle subcontracted engineering work packages defining the scope of work, the milestones and documentation deliverables. BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTIONS

1. Perform technical tasks assigned by the Civil and Structural Lead, related with design, verification and checking activities, in order to operate in compliance with assigned budget, time schedule and quality standards.

2. Ensure the interfaces with the other Project Specialists and Designers to coordinate activities performed inside or outside the Company.

3. Gather and provide record of experiences in order to improve and harmonize work methodologies through continuous improvement.

4. Ensure the assigned goals achievement and the fulfilment of the project quality and contractual requirements.

5. Define list of activities and deliverables, set up with the Discipline leader the time schedule, coordinate activities in accordance with contractual requirements.

6. Prepare design specification for civil works (e.g., concrete works, plant roads, underground networks, piling works).

15. Prepare technical documentation for civil material requisition and assist the procurement dept. in the technical evaluations.

6. Contribute to the writing of the Project Structural Design Brief (roadmap of all the structural design and analyses work on the project).

12. Engineering technical software tools. User level knowledge of Corporate and Operating Center Discipline technical design software tools. User level knowledge of Corporate and Operating Center IT tools supporting business processes such as electronic document system management, procurement and office automation applications.

13. Finite elements techniques. Detailed knowledge of Finite Elements calculation tools. Knowledge of the numerical simulation including the following skills: capability to implement the FE model using a consistent system of measurement units (i.e., model dimensions vs. imposed force/displacement). Capability to prescribe a set of boundary conditions (displacement, rotation, temperatures, etc.). Capability to select the most suitable element type to represent properly the structural behavior. Impose a set of loads (force, pressure, etc.) consistent with the actual load history. Capability to select the proper calculation methodology to be used in the numerical simulation (static, dynamic, standard, explicit, linear, non-linear, etc.).

14. Platform and modules design. Specific knowledge of offshore platform and modules design especially in terms of process, structural, layout, topside equipment, handling, mechanical, materials and piping. Capability to propose engineering solutions aiming at identifying optimized configurations to be transported and installed with available marine vessels / marine spread, minimizing offshore hook-ups and optimizing construction sequences and methodology. Capability to ensure the carrying out of engineering activities for the offshore system of competence, functional to the execution of the detail design, procurement of materials, construction and installation activities.

15. HSE risk management. Knowledge of criteria, standards, main techniques and methodologies for hazards identification during work execution, occupational risk assessment and evaluation. Knowledge of related control measures including the hierarchy of controls. Knowledge of safety cases and safety critical elements (including Management of Change and SIMOPS).

16. Project coordination and leadership. Capability to define project scope in order to meet the needs and expectations of the interested parties (especially clients and users.). Ability to be guided and oriented to objectives and task accomplishment, producing the agreed end results, within the time-frame and budget required, and within agreed parameters of Risk, HSE , Quality. Ability to being in the same time focused on welfare and health of the workforce. Capability to coordinate and effectively communicate with the team, as well as with other involved departments, actors and parties.

17. Project materials post order management. Knowledge of supply chain process (engineering, purchasing, production and fabrications, assembling, packing, transportation, clearing through customs, preservation and installation). BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTIONS

BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTIONS

1. Prepares Design, directs and evaluates the establishment of the Project Concepts and evaluate aesthetics and architectural solutions. Discuss and align on any associated issues with the Department Manager and/or the Lead Architectural Engineer.

2. Prepares Code study and incorporates into the design.
