The Company is looking for highly motivated professional who is talented, adaptive, initiative, and able to build collaborative team in achieving operational excellence to fill the following position:

SHERQ Manager

Job Description:

a. Creating and implementing Safety, Health, Environment, Risk and Quality (SHERQ) policies and procedures that align with regulations standards. These policies cover quality assurance, health and safety protocols, and environmental sustainability.

b. Providing training and educational programmes to employees at all levels to increase awareness about SHERQ practices and promote a safety culture.

c. Conducting regular audits and inspections of the workplace to identify areas of non-compliance or potential improvement opportunities. This includes assessing equipment, processes, and employee practices.

d. Monitoring SHERQ performance, including Process Safety, against relevant Standards and Procedures.

e. Lead process safety review meetings, driving accountability for SHERQ responsibilities across Site Project leadership teams. Ensure rigorous incident reporting and investigations, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions. Additionally, ensure emergency response readiness and business continuity planning.

f. Providing strategic guidance for SHERQ, setting a clear direction for the implementation of safety, health, environment, and sustainability initiatives.

g. Identifying potential hazards and risks in the workplace, assessing their potential impacts, and implementing measures to mitigate or eliminate them.

h. Preparing regular SHERQ reports for senior management and relevant authorities including updates on performance, incidents, compliance, and improvement initiatives.

i. Managing budgets and resources allocated to SHERQ programmes as well as ensuring that funds are used effectively to promote safety, health, environment, and quality sustainability.

Qualification:

• Bachelor/ Master degree any major, preferably from K3L, Public Health, Environmental Engineering.

• Minimum 5 years in a same position.

• Certified in K3 Umum Kemenaker.

• Have a SMKP/SMK3 Auditor certificate is preferred.

• have a POU Certificate (Pengawas Operasional Utama) is preferred.

• Conversant with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, SMK3, SMKP, Risk Management, Investigation and Audit Process.

• Strong knowledge of health, safety & environment standards.

• Having broad knowledge in Mining Environmental & Safety System

• Strong leadership & having good communication skills.

• Self-motivated, analytics, having ability to work under pressure.

• Fluent in English is a Must.

• Will be placed to Balikpapan project site.
