An Indonesian mining company which operates the copper and gold mining, and have a long-term expected mine life followed by processing stockpiles.

To support our EPC Project – Mill Process Fixed Plant Expansion , we require someone who is able to adapt with dynamic and under pressure environment to be carried out with rapid progress, highly motivated and experienced professional to fill the following position :

LEAD ENVIRONMENT – EPC FIXED PLANT

(National - Site Based)

Some of your duties will include:

• Responsible to provides high level technical environmental support for planning, permitting, reporting and Environmental Management System to the Processing Plant/ Mill Expansion Project. The role will work closely with other Environmental sections (Environmental Monitoring; Environmental Permitting, Reporting and Compliance; and Environmental Planning and Project) to manage potential environmental risks and maintains company environmental compliance and improve the company’s reputation.

• Analyze monitoring data and trends to identify potential environmental risks and emerging compliance issues.

• Provide technical advice to management to address significant environmental risks and emerging compliance issues.

• Provide technical input to permitting applications and stakeholder reports.

• Review RKL-RPL report and permitting reports prior to submission to relevant government institutions for the Process Expansion Project

• Prepare documentation/data required for environmental reporting for Corporate Holding

• Coordinate with relevant areas in conducting additional sampling/analysis related to the construction activities.

• Participate in projects to improve environmental performance, increase environmental understanding, reduce environmental risk, and/or to meet/exceed standard criteria set by corporate holding

• Conduct of monthly environmental toolbox and awareness sessions for Processing Plant/ Mill Expansion Project and the Contractors.

• Liaise with all project team personnel to ensure all environmental management requirements in all disciplines are understood and translated into operational practice.

What skills and experience do you need?

• Bachelor Degree in Environmental Engineering or Postgraduate technical qualifications in science or engineering with a Masters or PhD preferable relevant qualifications with minimum 12 years or more professional experience on technical matters pertinent to the EPC Industry/ Processing Plant construction/ Mining Industry operation practice;

• Have minimum 8 years’ experience as Senior Supervisory role as Lead/ Coordinator/ Advisor Environment

• The candidate should possess Planning and Project Management, Permitting, Reporting and Environmental Management System

• Have strong understanding and demonstrate on environmental management standard in construction work activities and mining environment; Strong understanding on government environmental regulations and Environmental Management System (ISO14001, AMDAL, Environment Auditor and Risk Management process); Strong understanding on international guidelines related to environmental; Experienced in conducting multiple media environmental sampling and monitoring;

• Have middle level operational inspector certificate (POM) or qualifications certificate recognized by KaIT (Chief Mines Inspector) in accordance with level of position.

HSE INSPECTOR - (EPC FIXED PLANT)

(National - Site Based)

Some of your duties will include:

• To comply and implement company policies, standards and procedures, conduct regular review of contractors’ activities for ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and ensure continuous improvement of site safety performance of the IMT and contractors. The Senior HSE Inspector is responsible to manage side wide safety operations related issues for all project activities, to hold all employees accountable for high HSE standards, and promote a culture of HSE excellence.

• To manage company objectives and all applicable Government of Indonesia regulatory and permit obligations for HSE, with reporting, compliance, and other statutory requirements within the Process Expansion Project area and other area when required by HSES Manager – PEP.

• To be accountable for the execution of plans/projects in each of these functions and responsible for coaching and mentoring of contractors in the project.

• To manage and find solution to any HSE issues and improve safety performance among the process expansion project (including contractors) under his/her respective responsible area

• Ensure responsibilities outlined in the HSE Management Plan are understood and adhered to by all personnel.

• Liaise with contractors and company Operations in relation to HSE activities.

• Audits compliance to company safety rules and policies, procedures and programs as well as Indonesian Government requirements.

• Assists Departmental Managers in the implementation/Supervision of HSE activities.

• Support in the implementation of emergency response procedures in his/her area of responsibilities.

• Support in the implementation of OHH programs in his area of responsibilities.

• Advises line management and contractors regarding safety rules, regulation, trends, statistics and compliance with rules and policies.

• Participate at the accident investigation, observations, safety Interactions, Inspections, Safety meetings to assure that program are working as intended.

• Ensures compliance with company Standard Task Procedures.

• Assist line supervisor to have observations/Safety Interactions for their positions.

What skills and experience do you need?

• Bachelor Degree in Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental qualifications or relevant qualifications with minimum 12 years’ HSE experience.

• Have experience in EPC Industry/ Process Fixed Plant construction operation practice is a must with minimum of 8 years’ experience as Senior Supervisory role as Coordinator/ Advisor HSE.

• The candidate should possess HSE System Trainings (Investigation, Risk Assessment or other HSE Trainings supported the system);

LEAD TRAINING HSE – EPC FIXED PLANT

(National - Site Based)

Some of your duties will include:

• Develop and implement Training Need Analysis (TNA) strategies and provide training and assessment advice to individuals and teams in accordance with project training management plan.

• Plan and assist to coordinate and/or deliver training and maintain partnership with Training Department.

• Assist with the identification of Learning & Development (L&D) needs specific to the process expansion project (PEP).

• Develop, monitor and maintain Administration proficiencies within the project.

• Advise on the application of the L&D system procedures such as delivery of training, assessment and evaluation of training.

• Assist and advise with the design and development of learning material specific to the Process Expansion Project (PEP).

• Provide support and advice to Managers and Supervisors in relation to the development needs of their staff.

• Ensure all training and assessments undertaken within the PEP is current and in accordance with required standards and complies with company and legislative requirements.

HSE TRAINING COORDINATOR – EPC FIXED PLANT

(National - Site Based)

Some of your duties will include:

• Responsible to provide educational and professional leadership for the delivery of high-quality training and programs relevant to Health, Safety & Environment (HSE).

• To assist the HSE Training Lead and other HSE Department employees in designing, planning, organizing, scheduling, delivering, and evaluating HSE training programs for the Processing Plant/ Mill Expansion Project.

• To alias with Corporate Holding Training Department to ensure that all training requirements of company are being met and complied with in the Process Expansion Project

• Correct any unsafe or dangerous behavior and report all unsafe conditions.

• Develop, maintain, and evaluate workgroup business plans to reflect consideration of resources, client needs, cost, and targets to serve clients related to SLC Training programs/ activities.

• Promote training services and products to clients of the HSE Department.

• Maintain and update SLC related training provisions according to compliance requirements from the Indonesian Government as well as other audit requirements applied to the Company.

• Design, plan, organize, schedule, implement and evaluate the training programs.

ADMINISTRATOR & SYSTEM COMPLIANCE HSE – EPC FIXED PLANT

(National - Site Based)

Some of your duties will include:

• Administration Support – Data Entry into database , such as Hazards, Inspections, JHAs, HSE Meetings, Incidents, Hazard Hunts, PTO, Safety Interactions.

• HSE Support

- Analyzing safety statistics as needed for daily numbers on Lead and Lag KPIs.

- Assist with collating data for investigations as required from time to time.

- Collate and record end of month data for EOM reporting purposes.

- Develop the Lead and Lag target posters in line with the EOM reporting timeframes.

- Ensuring the lead/lag indicators are up to date on all target posters before sending out for review and approval.

- Review and distribute overdue action reports to relevant stakeholders.

- Review and distribute open event reports to relevant stakeholders.

- Control the monthly HSES KPI data and spreadsheet and point of contact for KPI questions.

- Taking meeting minutes for Monthly and weekly meetings for HSES Department.

- Adding all personnel into database and maintaining current/terminated employees and contractors.

What skills and experience do you need?

• Tertiary Degree in Business Administration or relevant major.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an office administration preferably within the mining industry; Two (2) years of HSE Admin experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

• Identify any out of date, inaccurate or unsuitable content in site induction materials and bring to the attention of the HSE Training Coordinator.

• Maintain training records to ensure accuracy, currency and confidentiality.

• Undertake field observations for performance of personnel who have completed inductions.

LEAD SECURITY – EPC FIXED PLANT

(National - Site Based)

Some of your duties will include:

• Responsible to manage a multifaceted asset protection department across multiple sites within the Processing Plant/ Mill Expansion Project.

• To ensure the assets of the Processing Plant/ Mill Expansion Project are safe and adequately protected to prevent it from going missing, being stolen, robbed or damaged or else being accessed by unauthorized person.

• To alias with company holding Security Department to ensure that all security requirements of company are being met and complied with in the Processing Plant/ Mill Expansion Project.

• Direct the activities related to asset protection in order to protect the Processing Plant/ Mill Expansion Project assets.

• Manage operations responsible for controlling site access including inspecting vehicles, checking in visitors and checking for employee name tags.

• Manage the conduct of investigations into incidents in line with company holding ethics tool.

• Assess security problems; devise appropriate responses; review actions with staff; inform superiors of unusual events.

• Manage all physical security requirements for areas under control.

• Determine electronic security system requirements and recommend additions or changes.

• Direct activities during emergency situations by staying apprised of emergency response systems, monitoring emergency activities and supervising response personnel.

SUPERINTENDENT  CONSTRUCTION - INFRASTRUCTURE & UTILITIES (EPC FIXED PLANT)

(National - Site Based)

Some of your duties will include:

• Actively engage project team to participate in site specific due diligence activities and provide transaction team with negotiation guidance to mitigate risk, maximize value and ensure that workplace and schedule requirements are achievable for each space solution

• To plans, directs, and coordinates activities of designated projects to ensure that goals or objectives of project are accomplished within prescribed time frames.

• Manage the Pre-Construction/Due Diligence & Field Construction management process for Renovation/Remodel/New Construction—Ground up development projects, including scheduling and communicating with consultants & general contractors, tracking progress, reviewing submitted reports, and providing recommended action steps towards project completion

• Manage the project budgeting process—from project inception thru the construction start—utilizing historical data, industry/geographical cost indexing, and project scope analysis/value engineering utilizing field construction experience

• Manage overall project schedules utilizing company owned software by creating and continuously updating any and all company projects that fall under the team responsibility

• Identify, manage and minimize risks associated with challenging project variables including procurement, value engineering, and cost reduction-throughout entire project lifecycles.

• Manage and support external communications with design consultants, permit expediters, landlords, utility companies and city officials throughout due diligence, design and pre-construction phases of development projects

• Maintain consistent focus on assisting design & procurement teams in reducing timelines and overall project durations from initial Development Committee review (1st Pass) to intermediate review (2nd Pass) through final review (CDO) to ultimately increase team productivity

• Support various operational rollout initiatives by taking a lead role in cross functional meetings and ensure accountabilities are being met to achieve the desired outcome.

• Prepare and present project status reports on all applicable development projects at regularly scheduled project status meetings.

• Work with 3rd party manufacturers/distributors to provide the information needed to ensure they can produce and ship in time to support the projects.

What skills and experience do you need?

• Bachelor of Engineering degree (Civil, Structural, Mechanical disciplines), plus postgraduate qualifications / certifications in Project Management;

• Has minimum 12+ years’ experience working in similar role as Superintendent Construction – Infrastructure & Utilities in field construction project management, multi-unit development or similar project management/development fields; Familiar with Mill Expansion/ Processing Plant Construction (such as Wet Plant, Dry Plant & Filtration’s infrastructure)

• Previous experience in ground up construction is required. Mill Expansion/ Processing Plant Construction / EPC Industry experience is preferred;

• At least 15 years operational and capital project management experience including management of a large scale (Capex in excess of $500M) in brownfield environment.

• At least 5 years “commercial” exposure gained through involvement in Project Evaluation, Project Management, Business Development and Planning and / or Strategic Planning activities.

• At least 5 years of hands-on site construction management experience with Project or Area responsibility and accountability for HSE, cost, schedule and quality KPIs.

• Have sound knowledge of Earned Value Management and its effective application in Minerals Processing Capital Project Environment.

• Ability to read & analyze Architectural/MEP/Structural drawings is required

• Ability to communicate well, and work productively with internal and external individuals within the architectural, design, construction, procurement, facility building and planning communities.

SENIOR PROGRESS REPORTING (EPC FIXED PLANT)

(National - Site Based)

 

Some of your duties will include:

• Coordinate across stakeholders/contributors in the preparation of progress reports that make it possible for management and clients to stay informed about a project and to change or adjust assignments, schedules, and budgets. This includes Area /managers and Disciplines managers (engineering, commissioning, controls, procurement etc)

• Prepare sections of the progress report from base data as allocate my management team

• Maintain and communicate with contractors the project reporting requirements specification, with a focus to standardize across the project

• Follow-up with contractors to ensure timely progress reports submission

• Review progress report submissions for completeness and compliance to reporting specification, highlighting deviations to the project controls manager

• Maintain all reports in an auditable system

• Ensure site daily, weekly reports are captured into an easy to find database and the key data is analyzed and included into progress reports

• Develop and maintain project dashboard summarizing key metrics and project health

• Develop and maintain client level progress report summary for presentation

What skills and experience do you need?

•  Tertiary Degree in Civil/ Industrial Engineering or related discipline in Project Management reporting and has 10 years O&M and project management experience of Civil Construction

• Minimum of 8 years work experience in similar role as Sr Specialist Project Management Reporting in large scale construction ($USD100M) preferably with mining process plants

• Understanding of earned value and key project metrics; Ability to write good reports, to reorgnise data in tables and graphs that convey key information to management; Has good presentation skill;

SENIOR LEAD PROCESS (EPC FIXED PLANT)

(National - Site Based)

Some of your duties will include:

• Responsible for all matters relating to the process (mass/heat/water diagrams, equipment specification and selection, process engineering, P&IDs, etc), all interfaces and terminal points, as well as ensuring effective document and information exchange between all internal and external stakeholders.

• Study and review the heat and mass balance diagrams, P&IDs, plant and equipment specifications and other technical documentation, including O&M manuals and equipment manuals, ensuring conformance to specifications and standards and to the Owner’s requirements.

• Develop and manage the engineering design schedule and the document and information exchange schedule between the project team, the Engineering Consultant, equipment suppliers and the construction team and construction contractors (internal and external project stakeholders).

• Manage and control the document and information exchange process between internal and external project stakeholders.

• Manage terminal points and software interfaces between internal and external project stakeholders.

• During construction and commissioning, ensure that the correct documentation, drawings and other technical information are made available to the site teams.

• Investigate and solve technical issues relating to drawings and engineering that will come up during construction and commissioning.

• Take overall responsibility for commissioning, as Commissioning Manager.

• Develop the commissioning schedule with the support of internal and external project stakeholders.

• Minimum 10 years O&M and project management experience of Civil Construction Mill Expansion/ Processing Plant Project Development, of which at least 5 years in a similar or equivalent position.

• A thorough understanding of the project cycle, the ability to prioritise activities and to drive it to completion and to anticipate pinch points; Experienced in developing heat and mass balances and P&IDs; Very good knowledge of thermodynamics, able to read and understand technical documentation and to make an expert evaluation there of; Experienced in planning and executing project and commissioning activities; Hands-on experience of commissioning systems and equipment in Mill/ Fixed Plant; Good knowledge of pressure vessel, piping, boiler and welding codes and standards.

• Have Frontline/ Middle level operational inspector certificate (POP/ POM) or qualifications certificate recognized by KaIT (Chief Mines Inspector) in accordance with level of position.

• Strong leadership and organizational, scheduling & time management skills; Ability to work both independently and as a team player and thrive in a fast paced, high pressure environment dependent on managing multiple project timelines and schedules simultaneously; Ability to communicate well, and work productively with internal and external individuals; A commitment to safety and a desire to maintain our Indonesian mining operations to world class international safety standards; Demonstrate strong conceptual skills, and capable of developing lateral and practical solutions; High level of integrity and commitment; Good analytical, conflict resolution, sound decision making skills;

• Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written and computer literate;
