PT Varita Majutama (“PTVM”) engaged in oil palm plantation activities in Materabu Estate, West Papua Indonesia together with an oil mill for crude palm oil processing

EXECUTIVE - FINANCE

Responsibilities:

This candidate will be handling the procurement and accounting aspects, including but not limited to the followings:

- Search for potential suppliers

- Comparing and evaluating offers from suppliers

- Track orders and ensure timely delivery

- Prepare purchase orders timely

- Active communicate with site office on any upcoming orders

- Check and handle petty cash related matters

- Require active communication with head office, i.e. Kuala Lumpur

- Frequent communicate with site people for monthly operational report

- Assist in preparing the monthly management reporting

- Prepare journal entries for monthly management report purpose

- Assist to prepare certain statutory reporting for regulatory bodies 

- Liaise with internal auditor and external auditor

- Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned from time to time

Requirements:

- Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance (GPA minimal 2.80)

- Understand supply chain procedures

- 2 - 3 years experiences, fresh graduates are welcome

- Proficient with MS Office, knowledge in SAP is an added advantage

- Good planning and organizational skills and be able to multi-task

- Independent and self-discipline

- Willing to learn

- Able to communicate in English, both written and oral

- Dedicated, committed and responsible and prepare to work extra hours during peak period

- Working premise located in Jakarta
