Background

The government and the House of Representatives passed omnibus bill on job creation into law on October 5, 2020, amending 81 existing laws, including Mining Law, Oil and Gas Law, and Electricity Law.

The government said the Job Creation Law is aimed at improving bureaucratic efficiency, particularly in regard to the country’s business permits and investment.

The webinar would focus to explore the implications of the issuance of Omnibus Law into the mining, electricity, oil and gas industries. The webinar would dive deep on what key amendments are on oil and gas sector by amending Law No 22/2001 on Oil and Gas Law, Electricity Law No. 30 of 2009 and Mining Law No 4/2019 and 3/2020.
